Food absolutely gorgeous! Had the meat lasagne, it best lasagne ever tasted it was freshly cooked to order, lots of meat and very tasty! Also ordered dessert which was lovely! Would definitely return if ever in the area again!

We had another fabulous meal at the Royal Oak on Saturday evening. The meals here are consistently marvelous. The cottage pie especially good! Well staffed at the bar and so we didn't have to wait too long.

Ordered a takeaway from the bar at 5. 20pm then sat down with a drink to wait . One hour later still no food so enquired at the bar and when the barmaid looked into it I was told the meal had been behind the bar for 30mins.Unbelievably poor
Best curry ever,staff excellent ? ? Best kept secret. ? Quality meat,spices-chef is a genius. Recommend million per cent. Eat curry every week. Never had curry like it, be back again &again.

Delicious food with lots of variety on the menu. Dogs not welcomed inside but outside tables dogs are welcomed and water bowl provided. Very welcoming and friendly. Thank you ?

A friendly pub which we had booked in advance.Our table was reserved on arrival and the staff were welcoming. We enjoyed our meal ( steak was lovely) and freshly cooked. Worth a visit.
