Amazing, fresh, homemade and traditional food! The best Indian restaurant by far. The chef is brilliant and seems to do absolutely everything on his own. Just fab! 10/10

Wanted to give them higher score because the food that was good was actually nice. But the food that wasn't, really wasn't good at all. And because they took two hours to deliver it, I told them I'd just come pick it up. Except when I arrived the food wasn't even ready. And after waiting around for them to finish it and finally getting back home to eat it I discovered they forgot to include all the Naans, Paratha and Puri. If you can't cook it in time, don't take the order.

Bought butter chicken, garlic chicken balti, keema kebabs and pretty much the whole thing had to be thrown away. Completely tasteless, the meat in the keema nan was probably not even mince. Would never eat here again.

Probably the worst dining experience of my life, the waiter was going out and delivering food between courses. 2 drinks and terrible food, my wife couldn't eat her tandoori chicken it was so dry. That's 2 hours 20 mins I'll never get back

Just had our first takeaway... Absolutely delicious.. And enormous portions.... Definitely will be going back again... The best Indian takeaway in the area by far. Well done.

Fantastic meal last. We were a little worried because of there only being one not so good review on trip advisor, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good the curries were

Would not recommend hour and a half wait , ordered prawn butterfly to start it was a joke , delivered wrong food only to be told I'd got it wrong until they realised they had it wrong, food then came and it was cold nothing compared to other local Indian restaurants very disappointing wont be going back :(I see you have replied you replaced on the house lol you sent the wrong nans wrong curry my friend did not believe she had the right curry it was awful regarding the king prawn butterfly, It was tiny no I did not expect lobster as you have rudely wrote, with this attitude and the same attitude you gave last night was why I put this review.

They delivered in time but the food was bland and tasteless. Very greasy. Sorry to say I wasn't impressed.

Don’t bother greasy looking curry was brown I ordered tikka masala which is red what I got was not a tikka masala I tried a small bit on a teaspoon bland greasy and wrong curry! Rang them and returned the order sorry the man on phone was adamant it was masala but it really was not and taste rank. Didn’t try any of the other stuff to comment I won’t be using again stick to seven spice or mehfils

I noticed Chutneys had changed hands and was keen to give it a try. A big fan of Seven Spice, and Abduls in Cardigan, I wondered how Chutney's would compare. If you're looking for the best quality fixtures and fittings in a restuarant, then you won't find them here. But if you want the BEST food and super-friendly personal service you won't get better anywhere. I have had takeaways delivered and I've collected too, but mostly eaten in the restuarant (every week until lockdown forced that to stop.) The chef is extremely talented. Every dish tastes different and are so full of flavour. When I fancy a curry, THIS is the taste I'm craving and they never ever disappoint. I am from Indian heriatage and the fresh cooking reminds me of meals my nan would cook, and believe me, that's a compliment. You do have to wait for the food - never to the point where you're worried they've forgotten, but because everything is cooked fresh, and boy can you tell. It also means dishes can be personalised in terms of spices, meats, or anything else. And, personally, I enjoy the waiting time because eating out is obviously about the socialising too. I have never experienced any mis-orders. Everything always is exactly as ordered (even when personalised) and always delicious. I reccomend the Methi Gosht, and anything tandoori is so flavousome. The owner is very charming, and waiting staff are efficient and friendly. I have met the chef also, and he seems rightly proud of his cooking which is clearly a passion for him. I have reccomended Chutneys to all my friends and they all agree it's fantastic. Writing this, I fancy a curry again! There goes my diet
