Lovely little pub. Parking a bit difficult though.

A funny little place. Not what I was expecting from the menu / photos but staff were friendly and atmosphere good. Pub was busy when we went on a Friday night. I was disappointed that there were no specials offered in the evening (the waitress said these are only offered at lunchtime which was odd and a shame as I was looking forward to some interesting seafood dishes). Nonetheless the garlic cockles were pretty good although the seafood pasta was a slight disappointment. All in all a good meal and very reasonable but not the amazing food I was hoping for. On balance 4.5 stars for food / atmosphere / price but awarding 4 as I only give 5 when I'm blown away!

Food was amazing, definitely recommend penne pasta with chicken and mushroom.Quiet as out of season but definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely little boozer this is. Nicely decorated, like a proper pub. Very friendly greeting and treated really nicely throughout. The food was a lot better than I was anticipating. I'd simply gone for the option of Southern-fried-chicken-and bacon-dirty-fries but they'd obviously used good quality ingredients (particularly the choice of cheese) and taken care over them because they were really tasty. My 9 year old had opted for chicken nuggets from the kids menu but when they turned up, they not only looked good but were declared the best chicken nuggets ever. The menu was a lot more interesting than I've made it sound here, we'd just gone for something simple. Anyway, it was a very pleasant surprise, that we'd stumbled upon as it was about the only place serving food at half past 4 in the afternoon. Will definitely be going back again.

This place has someone who really can cook. Well trained staff. Decent sensible portions. Very welcoming staff in a pleasant pub, in a village. Best pub meal we've had for a long time.

Taken out for Sunday lunch. Turkey dinner was amazing. The only small issue was it was quite dark, which many would like, but my wife's vision is not good so it was a little difficult for her to see to eatParking: Plenty of parking available

Came to The Ferry Inn for a New Year’s Eve meal whilst staying in the Little Retreat in Lawrenny. Called for last minute reservation, very accommodating, and attentive. Meal sizes were large portions and extremely good value for money. Staff were very friendly and we would highly recommend! This pub is dog friendly.

Nice pint, nice people. In a unique situation tucked away under the imposing modern road bridge. But this somehow adds to it's charms, so don't let that put you off.We never sampled the food but other customers seemed to be enjoying their victuals.
