Staff extremely helpful when asked about vegan and gluten free food. Excellent service and great food Would thoroughly recommend.

Unpleasant middle aged lady took our order, no smile or welcome. Was very rude to somebody on the phone whilst in clear earshot of customers. Chunky veg soup with roll and cheese 'special' was unavailable so we accepted leek and potato as an alternative. However, we were charged inflated price for a small bowl of packet powdered soup (totally liquid) and no cheese. This and 2 teas came to £19.80!! Left a bad taste - in more ways than one...The younger lady who served us was very pleasant.

I ordered a small portion of fish and chips. The fish was juicy and delicious, and the salad was generous. It suddenly started raining heavily when the store was closing, but I forgot to bring an umbrella. The store was kind enough to let me stay until the rain stopped. Fortunately, it stopped raining within about 15 minutes. Thank you very much.

Lovely staff and good food. Has both a vegan and gluten free menu and the friendly staff where fantastic about checking things. The chips where spot on! It felt very nostalgic from the brown seating to the banana milkshake.Dietary restrictions: Has both a vegan and gluten free menu

It’s very expensive here and the food isn’t the best in all honesty, the decor hasn’t been updated since the 1960s though which I think is quite cool.

Came here for a quick lunch before a visit to Pembroke Castle. Great selection of warm home cooked food - exactly what you need on a chilly day. Cup of tea and a toastie went down a

Very warm welcome from kind friendly helpful staff. They are happy to adapt menu items. Great choices for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners, as well as everyone else. Reasonable prices too. The weather wasn't good enough to sit out on the terrace, but we were lucky enough to grab the end table where we could look out over the valley to the hills beyond. My gluten-free tuna mayo toastie and salad was great - they were happy to do me a salad without onions, and I was happy when it arrived with a little pot of toasted seeds to use as a topper if I wished (I did wish). My companion enjoyed his mushrooms on granary toast, a favourite lunch dish which is not easy to find. I was sorry I didn't have space for a gluten-free cake. The cafe was very clean and the service was excellent. I would happily eat here again if I was in Pembroke at lunchtime.

This café is not only cheery and welcoming but also offers fantastic value for money. The food arrives promptly and is always tasty. During the summer, they had a wonderful promotion where kids ate for just £1 when an adult purchased a meal priced at £8 or more. Such a thoughtful offer truly supports families.

Wonderful find! Good food with a sunny outdoor terrace, and really lovely, friendly staff who were absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town :)

Great cafe serving a variety of food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Very busy place but lots of seating available.

Mediocre and pricey for essentially a greasy spoon cafe. 60s decor has a little bit of historic charm if you love the colour brown, but the menu hasn’t updated since, nor the presentation (have never seen a less attractive cooked fish or the chips). Have eaten in similar style London cafes for less!
