Got straight into sit down without a booking. Staff polite and courteous despite being very busy with takeaway orders. Had Chicken Tikka Balti, Egg Pilau Rice and an absolutely insane Cheesy Keema Naan. Will certainly be visiting again.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant. And if you go with your family they will try and rob you by forcing to order more curry. They have their own house rule that if you go to have a dinner for family of four you have to orderMinimum four curries. They are happy for us to waste food as long as their Pocket get filled but they need to understand that rather than forcing people let them buy what they want because they are the one who is paying money and it’s their money not yours.

Went in on one night and had the best Indian I've ever had anywhere in the UK. I went in the next evening and the food was rubbish. Staff were very nice on both occasions

It's a shame, Mehfil's got so much of my takeaway order right, but so much wrong. I ordered a mixed starter and a Tandoori Thali. Sadly the Onion Bhaji came in a tray with other ingredients instead of a paper bag, so was thoroughly soggy. This is minor. What really annoyed was the taste of golden syrup in the Tikka Masala sauce - it overpowered the whole thing. Very disappointing. There was a lot right though - generous portions, fast preparation and delivery, and pretty much all good (apart from the soggy bhaji).

The food was lovely and delicious. It came out in a timely matter. However, the service could be a bit better.
Had a very nice dining experience here, a decent Vindaloo with mountains of pilau rice, staff were attentive however there was a bit of a wait for the food. Would definitely go again.

What a surprise! Absolutely fantastic place, really unexpected… delicious and fresh. We know a little bit about Indian food and this place really surprised us, more about the complex flavours and not covering up lack of flavour with slice which is becoming all too often in the Uk. Really really good, would stay in the area again just to eat here.

We tried the food today and the customer service(old guy who look bald)was very rude and not upto the mark.We have asked for an extra plate and the waiter was not ready to give the extra plate as if we are going to steal the plate and go home with that.
