The place is lovely, but like many of the reviews said, the mains are NOT worth the price. The appetisers were amazing, but the mains very very subpar and very over priced. And we are not picky eaters, we don’t usually leave a bad review for anywhere, but really want this place to either improve their food quality or decrease their prices.Giving 3 stars because the building is very nice

Lovely Sunday lunch here today, great service and setting in this olde type pub, great having the opportunity to take our dogs followed by a nice walk on fresh water beach to help the food go down was a real bonus, will definitely be back .. Diolch ??

Great lunch - the rustic rolls are beautiful! Lovely crusty, crunchy on the outside and soft + delicious within! The available fillings are excellent ... my personal fav being the blue cheese with bacon at just £1 extra! Well cared for beers complete the experience! ???Nearby activities: Only a mile or two to Bosherston Lily Ponds and the beautiful beaches of Broad Haven South and Barafundle ... both of which are on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.Enjoy!!

went for a post walk drink on a cold saturday afternoon, very cosy place, staff were lovely, fully intend on coming back and staying over next time!

It is in a lovely setting and all very olde world charm. The food was good but quite expensive. My wife ordered a pear dessert but when it came it was actually apple, not pear. Raw, hard, uncooked apple, when she was expecting cooked pear. That change didn't seem to be of concern to the staff on that night, which I thought was a bit poor. It is still a good place to go but could be so much better with more friendly service and attention to a few details.

Didn't stay here, came for lunch. We were the first ones in but the staff showed the same level of care to the rest of the diners that came in after us. I was defeated by the fish and chips, huge portion, proper chips , delicious!Overheard others saying the lamb cawl was the best they had ever had, so that will be my order next time.Dog friendly too

Cannot fault this place whatsoever. We had a great few days staying here, eating and drinking here. The staff are so friendly and fabulous and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. The rooms are bright and clean, and The food is exceptional! Thanks Team Stackpole Inn for going that extra mile for hubby's birthday and our little staycation, we had the best time! :0)

A great place to eat. Good menu and a fresh twist on some old classics. ?

Had a great meal, food was delicious, serviced was friendly but very slow, particularly drinks from the bar. Obviously a very popular place, it was Saturday evening and the place was full. The staff were working very hard, the but clearly not enough of them, hence the 4 not 5

Best food we've had quite a while - the ox tongue starter and the mushroom and leek lasagne were particularly delicious. This isn't a place with delusions of grandeur that serves tiny portions - we were properly refueled after a day's walk. Prices are reasonable for 2023 considering the quality of food.

Great beer garden in the middle of the village. Nice atmosphere, fast service, food was served hot from the oven in 15 minutes after ordering time.Sea bream with potatoes was superb, burger with wagyu beef was overcooked (tasted slightly burnt).

Lovely pub. Staff are really accommodating aswell. We arrived at 6pm with no reservation, they were fully booked but managed to get us in for some food.

After seeing the restaurant on Hairy Bikers we were expected some great food. The staff were lovely as was the garden dinning area. The food was really not special at all and so making it rather over priced. My wife’s Peppercorn sauce was pretty tasteless and watery, my fish quite bland. Their chips are excellent but that is not enough. Just did not reach the standard we expected and unlikely to go back again.
