Very nice Sunday lunch and enjoyable. Lamb was perfectly cooked and I have no complaints. Only thing that I would like to point out is that the tables were a little bit on the sticky side the apart from that everything was just fine.

Lovely welcoming staff. Beautifully situated pub and great food. Bar staff and chef were very friendly and helpful. Visited twice because of this. There were lots of veggie options on the menu but i just wanted something light on my second visit, so opted for the soup of the day, caramelised carrot. My sister then noticed on the website that there was a halloumi salad but we couldn't see it on the menu. When we asked the chef about it he told us that it was not on the current menu, but that he would happily make me one. It was delicious and just what i needed. He also brought out a small sample of the carrot soup. Wow. It was sooo tasty. There were 5 of us and we were all blown away by the food. Empty plates went back to the kitchen and 5 very happy and fulfilled customers left the pub. Will definitely visit again next time we are here. The barlady was wonderful to talk to, gave us some good local knowledge. The food was excellent for the price. Pub is dog friendly and the local drinkers were a laugh. Highly recommend!

This place is the best for FOOD SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE ? a very friendly, warm welcome instantly from the lovely merrell (staff). This lady is a true credit to you. She looked after us well. Then, the chef was also just as friendly and was a top cook. The food was perfect. We have been to many places, and this place did not disappoint. Thank you, we will be back. You get what you pay for decent food cooked beautifully.

We enjoyed a warm welcome and good pub food (tasty flatiron steak and chips and a beetroot, black pudding and apple salad) on a weekday lunchtime. Our table in the window had lovely views of Pembroke Castle across the millpond.

We went here to find out that our booking hadn't been added to the book so me and our 12 others coming here for a last night holiday meal couldn't eat here however the atmosphere was really nice and the place looked good.

Called in after a walk, so glad we did as the service and atmosphere was very good. The songs played on the jukebox were the best I’ve heard in a pub, well done to the woman who selected them. A pub for locals and visitors.

Good food and great atmosphere in this lovely pub. We’ve been repeat customers this past year and as a family, we love it. The chef Ant is a real credit to the place and isn’t afraid to try new things, you can tell the food is made from the heart. You also get a free concert when he’s working….. If you’re lucky, you get to see the otters in the water too.
