The setting is perfect overlooking the bay, and we received a very friendly welcome. All the menu choices are home cooked, although on this visit we only had coffee and cake. I can definitely recommend this wonderful cafe and the surrounding area. We will return!!!!

We went there in June. And sat outside with our little Westie dog. We had a very nice meal. So we decided to go back there today, went inside to be told sorry no dogs. But if there is room we have some room in the doorway.Unfortunately this space is not big enough to park 2 wheelie bins in. Plus customers stand there to get a seat. Please if you have a dog they are not welcome. There is not even a shelter to sit under outside. So remember if the weather is not good don’t go.

Had a lovely baked potato with Welsh cheddar cheese and ham for lunch. Very tasty and came with 3 sides; couscous, crisps and coleslaw.Lovely view of West Angle Bay from the cafe. I had read the cafe was dog friendly but only outside, unless it is an assisted dog. Very friendly staff and exceedingly prompt with serving drinks and food, very efficient even when busy.

Found this cafe this year after coming to this part of Pembrokeshire for many years. What a great find. Excellent food for adults and kids and brilliant efficient service. Loved it so much we came back again in the same week. Lovely spot overlooking the beach too.
We’ve been going to Wavecrest for some years now and it has never disappointed on any level. We were fortunate to hold my late fathers wake there, as this was his favourite place and regularly went. The weather couldn’t have been kinder to us. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, the staff were so respectful and compassionate towards us all. The organisation, food and attention to detail was first class, as usual. Wavecrest owners and staff, we can’t thank you all enough, for making what is a very difficult and sad time, a time of peaceful reflection while being cared for in a wonderful way. X

We wanted to come for a walk but also wanted to eat out so we decided to combine the two and ate here. Plenty of choice on the menu and plenty of tables even though it was very busy. We ordered 2 x ploughman’s and they were amazing. Lots of cheese and good quality ham with a selection of crackers, pickle, coleslaw and onions. Absolutely delicious. Food was brought out to us in good time and staff were so friendly. We then returned to the take away section after the walk where we picked up some doggie ice cream and dog biscuits with an ice cream for us too. We’ve never had a bad experience here.
