Last Friday, my husband,and I and our dog Maisie went to the Harvester Pencoed for lunch. Our food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were great. We will certainly go there again. They made a real fuss of Maisie which was lovely. I couldn't fault it.

First of all the salad was empty and very limited all the sauces was empty as well the rolls was ice cold and hard no onion bits then the bbq ribs come out and very drink and taste less had to put cold bbq sauce over them my partner had the veggie pie and the pastry was hard she couldn’t eat it very disappointed the worst harvester I’ve been to will never go back there

The host checking us in did not speak to us, just dumped the menus on the table and walked off - thought this was rude!! Waitress was amazing - Janine - very happy chatty and helpful, it took 45 mins for food to arrive with one meal being sent back as over cooked, even then once received the 2nd time chicken and corn overcooked, chicken dry and the corn must have been cooked for days not minutes, the other meal had the same issue with the corn and also got served the wrong chips with the meal.Parking: Good parking- shame no lighting on road to parking and roles is full of pot holes

I've missed Harvester! They closed our local one down years ago. This one is lovely, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good food. Only thing that let it down was the car park - it's like valleys of the moon with all the potholes.
