Well what can I say? We booked for Christmas day. Having not visited before, and always meaning to, seeing so many returning customers and hearing such great things, we decided that this year we would treat ourselves to family Christmas Dinner out!! And boy it exceed expectations!! A truly incredible 7 course dining experience! For only £4 a head more than a chain restaurants 3 course Christmas day menu, it was absolutely incredible!!! The food was fresh, hot, beautiful and we were not rushed between courses. We were offered to take the cheese board home, as we were full to bursting by that point, and even that was packaged well in boxes and in a paper bag to carry home! Staff were amazing and very attentive! To the young lad waiter working, I hold my hat off to you working Christmas day!! In fact i hold my hat off to you all, giving up your Christmas day! If you are considering it for Christmas this year, get your name down now. We booked fairly last minute in October, and luckily got the last table. We will be back!! Thank you all ??

Went here for my wife's Birthday in December, we ordered the banquet steak meal. This is 70oz of steak between four of you, but would easily feed 5 or maybe six. If the majority of you have the meat cooked the same, they can offer some of it cooked differently, which is great. Steak was great, choice of multiple different cuts with multiple sides, great value. We were sat outside in one of their converted sheds, which had music and was heated, all very nice. Only slight downside is the noise of the trains every 30 mins, being close to the railway, but it's not too bad, would come again. Service was great.

I have to say I am perplexed over the amount of amazing reviews and awards without being rude we found this place incredibly average in every way. Zero atmosphere, smudgy cloudy wine glasses, a rickety table, food was pleasant but forgettable, sauces were bland and we sadly wouldn't visit again especially as we came quite a distance for what we believed to be was going to be a jewel of a place. Menu's are all on the wall and depending on where you are seated you can not view them without intruding on others personal space. Parking isn't great and the staff were friendly in all fairness and prompt service. I can not take that away from them. But some serious improvement needed.

My husband and I had some bloody lovely food here midweek, to celebrate an achievement of his.We arrived early, and were seated quickly. We shared the steak sharer board, with chips, onion rings, garlic bread, peppercorn sauce and garlic butter sauce. Omg - it was so good! It took about 10 mins to be on our table, and the staff were so nice!It's a really cute place, it's small in the front but I believe they have additional seats out the back! There's also free parking just down the road.We finished off with their honeycomb cheesecake, this was nice enough - I've had better but it didn't take away from the experience. Another lovely steak dinner at Steak&Stamp!We arrived on time ( parking IS a bit tricky to be honest ( but worth it!)) but we arrived on time regardless of parking difficulties but our table wasn’t quite ready so we were shown to their little pub, it didn’t look too promising as we walked in, but turned out wonderful! A table of older gentlemen playing guitars and singing Christmas carrols, with bell ringing and whistles it was fabulous totally loved it!We were called to eat after about ten minutes.. I would've happily stayed longer soaking up the happy atmosphere of the pub!Five of us were eating and so we were seated in one of the ”summer-houses” outside.Sounds like that could be a bit chilly in November but not at all, they are very cosy and were all plenty warm enough.As there were five of us, we ordered the steak banquet and an 8oz fillet steak for my youngest daughter just so we would have enough to feel like a proper banquet…. Realistically we didn’t need the fillet steak meal as there was more than enough food to go round and we couldn’t finish it all despite our best efforts!It was all delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection, all the sides are hot and tasty!The staff are so, so lovely.They make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Great guys!Last time we went there there was no Worcestershire Sauce (which was disappointing but not unusual nowadays!) We were going to bring a bottle with us ( but forgot) but it was lovely to find they actually have a bottle there now!( Steak is always better with Worcestershire sauce! )I feel that they noted something they were asked for and didn’t have and so they made sure to have it for next time. We appreciated that.The meal was lovely. Top notch!We loved it and we are already booked in to go do it all again between Christmas and new year!!

If you are looking for a good steak this is the place to go. Had surf and turf last night and it was amazing. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious. It was so tender. Will definitely return. Highly recommended. This place is a gem.

Absolutely love this place, a real hidden jewel in Pencoed. Perfect steak, melt in your mouth, quality you'd expect from the finest grill houses. Service is great, staff are attentive and friendly. Always look forward to coming here, never ever disappointed. Oh and the bacon cabbage ? ?

What an absolutely wonderful place to celebrate our Anniversary. Steak & Stamp is a superb little restaurant tucked away in Pencoed. The food is out of this world, the staff so friendly I can’t wait to visit again. If you are steak lovers, I highly recommend you visit this little gem.
