This place was amazing. The scotch eggs were the best I've ever had. They were so friendly and even helped my partner remember his Welsh ?. We parked our motorhome over night and it was perfect.

Robinsons have destroyed what was once a great pub. The place has either been run by incompetents or has lain empty for months on end. Currently it's been over a year with no landlord/landlady, the pub was filthy and falling to bits BEFORE this long run of vacancy. Sad to see such a popular village pub fall foul of a useless brewery.

Can I have your attention, Please, I saw testimonies from several people talking about Mrs Rossy Cavill and I also decided to contact her and see how she operates, It was so fortunate her service is reliable and trustworthy, Her service is the best I've seen so far in forex trade. I made an investment with her on the Bitcoin trade and got my cash outs within 6-7 days of trading without any stress or delay. WOW, all Thanks to you MRS. Rossy Cavill, You are heaven-sent to me. May God continues to bless your good works, Never thought that online trading could be so helpful today. Her service is fast and reliable, rest assured, If you're interested to invest in bitcoin trade you can kindly contact her via WhatsApp: +1 ‪(623) 239‑3908 Email:[email protected]

Great pub, lots of character, friendly bar staff and locals. Big beer garden too. Had a great overnight here. Recommend the lamb shank. The chef kindly subbed the veg for chips and peas too. Will definitely call again?**update Oct 22** unfortunately closed /closing due to unsustainable energy price rates. This was a cracking pub!

Visited for a Meal on Wednesday evening, 19th October, to discover that the pub had recently closed due to lack of business.couldn’t find any reference to this on their own website or that of Robinson brewery. Suggest you ring before you visit , just in case the decision has been reversed.

Nice enough pub for a drink,BUT, as for food, a bit hit or miss. Might be because it was out of holiday season but went on a Wednesday, no food ,then went for a Sunday roast as advertised , no Sunday roast. 2rd October. Had a curry instead. Not what I wanted but tasted OK.

Terrible experience. Firstly, we ordered four bowls of chips, which came with a dish full of out of date sauces by one year. Next, our dog had bit one of our family members so we asked for some vodka to put on the cut. BUT, the manager, chef, hillbilly person wouldn’t let us have a tiny bit of vodka if we didn’t pay for it first and then also saying that the sauces isn’t his problem and he doesn’t care. Finally, as we were leaving he was outside making a mess complaining about family members number plates and arguing with family members too.DO NOT RECOMMEND AND NOT GOING AGAIN !!

5 of us arrived after a day climbing for a drink and a meal. We could not have been made more welcome or had lovelier service. Would definitely go back, big shout out to Chloe who was fab!

We went to this pub for a quick drink and a few portions of chips. When the chips arrived, we used the sauces and then realised they were all out of date. We informed the waitress who agreed to replace the chips. The waitress was very helpful but the chef/manager said it wasn’t his problem if the sauces were out of date. We didn’t remind him of his legal obligation in relation to food hygiene and the sale of goods and services, as we weren’t confident that he would comprehend what we were saying. During the “lunch” a family member suffered a dog bite and there was lots of blood and we quickly asked the bar staff for some vodka to disinfect the wound. The “chef/manager” could see it was an emergency and said “you need to pay for it first”. Of course we would have paid for it but we needed it immediately to disinfect the wound. His response was “you’ve already had 7 portions of chips”. The “chef/manager’s” lack of empathy, ergency and compassion is quite frankly appalling. He even laughed at us when we departed. Please avoid this pub at all costs.

The chef/cow was horrible somebody had an injury and he refused to give us vodka to place on the injured arm. We said we would pay after as we were in a rush to put it on the arm. Out of date sauce if you ever go pls check the dates some of them were years old? DON’T GO!!!
