Called in on the off chance. Great decision. Lovely place. We had a mixed grill and a fillet steak. Both meals were great. Really tasty and great value. Served by really lovely staff. So we will definitely call back when down Baglan way. Thanks guys.Parking: Blue badge parking right by the entrance

Came her for a meal this evening, with family. We were thoughtfully seated (as one of us uses a wheelchair), food was delicious and consistent with previous visits and plenty of veggie and plant based options. The atmosphere was lovely and the customer service was exceptional, so polite, friendly and humourous.Looking forward to returning again soon.

My visit to Beefeater in Baglan left much to be desired. The dirty cutlery and mediocre food, featuring cold chips, were disappointing. The news of the festive menu being unavailable after we ordered drinks only added to the letdown. Baglan, previously considered posh, now seems far from it. By the way, I'm intrigued—do they measure the peppercorn sauce like alcohol, perhaps in 25ml or 2.5cl servings?

Awful food! Sausage tastes like liver patte, egg not cooked, hash brown raw, bacon still alive. Even if I where dragged back there, I would never consume another morsel in the particular beefeater. Waitress tipped herself too without consent, and her service was dire.

Booked for a table of twelve on Friday evening at 7.45pm, all I can say from the bar staff the gentleman who took our order our fantastic waitress and off course the amazing kitchen staff wow from start to finish food was amazing thankyou for making our night out

Where do I start? Meals are miniscule portions and grossly overpriced - you are guaranteed to be hungry afterwards. My husband’s mixed grill even had items missing. Bottomless cokes are great - but shouldn’t you be told about this when you order, by the waitress, rather than find out when it’s too late when you see it on the bill?If you enjoy the food here my goodness you’re not used to quality and must be very easily pleased! Would never eat here again - utter rubbish - staff apathetic and don’t seem to have any had any training - whole place is a let down. Nicely redecorated but that’s about it.

My family and I went here last year (2022) for the Christmas meal and although the event had only just started, they didn't have any Christmas dinners available. This year, we thought we would give it another try and they actually had Christmas dinner available, but boy what a disappointment that was. Half the plate was filled with half cooked sprouts and carrot wedges, the tiniest lump of stuffing, a few wafer thin slivers of turkey and 1 Yorkshire pudding. There was the tiniest sprinkle if gravy I've ever seen. They did bring another half jug of gravy which barely went round the 7 of us. The 1 single pig in blanket we were told was with the meal was missing.The Christmas burger I'd had for lunch was more filling than this. Then desert came and even the Sunday was half full and missing the sauce. After asking several times, we never did get that pig in blanket. Will definitely find somewhere else for next year's family get together.

Long wait for food and drinks, waited over 40 minutes for drinks. People were getting up and leaving due to the wait. Food portions are really small and not filling. The atmosphere was great, but that has more to do with the people I was with than the actual venue.

Food, was cold. I had the bacon burger, very dry. Anyway, the reason I am leaving a review is because as a disabled customer it’s not to much to expect a functioning disabled toilet. When I approached it, there was no handle on the door, and the door wouldn’t shut, floor covered in urine. I couldn’t use it. I pointed this out to our waitress ( who was lovely btw), she said she had informed the shift manager and told him. I expected an apology or explanation from him but he completely ignored it. Very unprofessional. Won’t be going again.
