“Gorgeous food and lovely staff. Bit slow tonight but only one bar person present, and they were very attentive and very smiley. Discerning wine selection - my malbec was excellent . Been here twice now and each time has been a very good experience.”

“Visited today and had a fantastic meal the large cod was excellent and the beef madras had a really good amount of beef in there both excellent value and since the last visit the chips are now not so chunky as before which I found much better, I had to knock one point off for service as the waitress serving the drink decided to slam my pint of guinness on the table and walk off, I did not say anything as she might have been having a bad day, will always return as the food is excellent and not over expensive so really good value.”

“I stopped at The Afan Lodge today, while walking my dog as it is a dog friendly venue. I was served by Sam & Fran, whom were absolutely delightful, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was cosy and the views beautiful on this sunny day. I had a pub lunch, which was amazing too! A recommended stop off if you are in the area ?”

“Got there fairly late in the evening so the staff were probably tired but they were great. The food was amazing, I’d heard some less than favourable things about The Front but going on my experience they’re all wrong. A girl called Ava (I asked her name!) served us and she was amazing. It was busy but she made sure to take the time to look after us. Loved the food and Ava was super friendly. Definitely returning soon!”

“Visited Aberavon today, a great experience. The game against Llandovery was exceptional. The result went against Aberavon 24-21 but it was a great game to watch.There were 6 old farts visiting from Swindon RFC, the young guy who served us was excellent. He remembered our round which was impressive!”
