We walked in for dinner around 7pm on a Friday based on good reviews and the restaurant was completely empty. That said, a large group of young men came in after we'd ordered.\\n\\nService was fine, but after enjoying our poppadoms the experience left a lot to be desired.\\n\\nThe butter chicken was quite sweet and coconutty, more like a korma. It was also swimming in sauce as you can see in the picture.\\n\\nThe half chicken tandoori looked like a showstopper when it came out of the kitchen, but was dry and flavourless.\\n\\nThe chicken jalfrezi was far too spicy (I love spice).\\n\\nIt seems like this restaurant has been a local favourite in the past, maybe we picked the wrong menu items but this didn't seem like authentic curry and we won't be returning unfortunately.

Amazing food. We actually ate here yesterday, the food was so good we had it again the day after. Takeaway both times, but the food was really nice. Very consistent. The madras is genuinely hot. I like hot and it was warm for me!The staff are really lovely too. You can tell the place was established in the 70s, as the experience really shines through in the food quality and customer service ?I genuinely think you will struggle to find a better Indian in the area. I have tried many others, but it would be extremely difficult to beat the quality here.

Just ate at this restaurant. Called in off the motorway on an off chance……wow! What amazing food & cobra beer a must with a curry. The young lad behind the bar was so welcome and very switched on. All the people in there were lovely. What a find, definitely come to this place. Much nicer than the services any day. Thank you ?

Nicest chicken tikka masala in port Talbot area. So much flavour. Was delicious food all around. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his madras too.

Literally couldn't fault this place. Popped in 2wk after they opened as we stumbled past having diverted off the motorway. Actually arrived 15min before they opened. Really accommodating. Great food. Young fella who served us was frickin hilarious. Top experience.

First time to have a takeaway from here and I have to say I was not disappointed.Portion size was great. Flavours were spot on and all in all a perfect meal. Very friendly staff on collection.

What has happened to my favourite Indian restaurant? Ray the boss has gone and so it seems have a lot of other things. The portion sizes are smaller, the menu has shrunk to the basics, the spice has almost disappeared from the curries. I ordered a Jalfrezi tonight which is usually medium hot but this one was just mild and bland. The rice was only half a portion in the tub.If it was just one of us that felt that things had gone downhill then maybe fair enough but all of 3 of us who ordered were very disappointed to say the least.I won’t be returning and I’m sad about that as I like supporting local businesses but this Indian has lost its way big time.Time for a rethink please guys

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday 4th Feb, we ordered popadoms and the usual chutneys that come out with them to start. My wife found a hard piece of plastic in amongst the onion and my friend found a small pointed piece of plastic in the salad. We mentioned this to the waiter who said “are you kidding me they did last night too .”My friend who has worked in catering for over 40 years told him to stop serving the starters straight away as it was dangerous but this went straight over the waiters head. To make matters worse every time the waiter came back to serve us he kept making plastic jokes! We had travelled a considerable distance to dine here. The only reason we went here was because our first choice was fully booked. We will never go here again. Avoid at all costs!!!
