Fantastic little cafe with friendly, attentive staff. The food here is consistently good with generous portions. I can recommend the breakfasts, chicken curry and the corned beef pie is delicious. I never have any room left for deserts when visiting but the homemade apple pie another customer was eating looked very good indeed.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level with a small slope at the entrance but no step. Toilet facilities are disable friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE! My mother went today and complained there was hair in her breakfast, instead of being a decent cafe owner and changing her food he literally spoke over my mother, belittled her and made her feel it was all her own fault and that it was her own hair in her food when she literally had just received the plate of food. He snatched the plate away and said I will take it away and shouted at her aggressively Get Out Of MY Cafe! Infront of customers. My mother was very upset and wanted her money back, I mean £15 is a lot to pay for a breakfast when all she would of wanted was the breakfast to be changed and she would of been happy. What a horrible arrogant, bully of a man who owns the place!

Stopped here while I had an hour to wait for a train. Liked it so much I came back the next day (I was walking the coastal footpath in stages). Lovely tea and cake on first visit and sausage sandwich plus the best-tasting coffee the next morning. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Outside tables to watch the world go by.

Avoid this cafe! I will never be a patron of your cafe again. I have heard of a very upsetting, unnecessary & to be frank, bullying incident of a lady at your cafe. The incident occurred between a woman behind the counter & a lady ordering her breakfast. A lady asked for tomatoes instead of beans with her order only to be told it would cost £2 extra as it was a set menu. Lady said that was ok, could she still have the breakfast but without the beans, she was told no it was a set menu. Lady asked if the beans came in a bowl, which she was told they would, the lady said that's ok she would leave the beans. At this point a man appeared behind the counter & pointed to the door, aggressively telling her to leave as 'they don't waste food here'. I have been told the man shouted very loudly and showed aggressive toward this poor lady, who as far as I was told did not raise her voice, was not rude and had not said anything to arouse such a reaction. The shock & embarrassment on this poor older lady was apparent to see. I was told this was an unnerving & frightening experience to the witness too. Shocked & very disappointed to hear about this incident as I have sat solo in your cafe. What would have happened if there were no witnesses to this incident? Thankfully there was because I can write a review/warning. I have to question if this incident would have occurred if it was a male customer? Shame on you!
Its ok. Breakfast was basic. Once food was serviced no one comes to ask if everything is ok. Mushrooms were very watery. Made the toast soggy. Slightly dearer than some places.

I went to Selections Coffee House to service their Fire Extinguishers. Even though I wasn’t a customer these guys were really on point, very pleasant and helpful. Having worked at the back of house in many restaurants and cafes across the UK, let me tell you that the standards of cleanliness and hygiene are exceptional. I could literally have eaten my dinner off the floor !! Thank you all for making my visit so pleasant and easy going. Amazing..keep it up.
