Just had lunch with my son but was a bit disappointed. Not much on the lunch time menu and a little overpriced as the main meals do not come with chips, potatoes etc only a bit of coleslaw and salad which was very bland due to no dressings. The only dressing was balsamic glaze which did give it a bit of flavour. The toasted sandwich was very nice and so was the burger but a very small side dish of chips that were nearly £3. My glass was also dirty which wasn't a problem as they changed it. The menu on the website is different and cheaper so that either needs to be updated or food served at that price. Service was fair but not sure if I would go back at least not for a while. It needs a few tweaks to the menu.

Just had a lovely Gluten Free Breakfast, Bacon, Egg. Beans, Mushrooms, Tomatoes & Hash Browns with GF Toast & Butter. Great location, lovely atmosphere, been here a few times, it's so good, it's the reason we are back here again. Friendly staff, so understanding about allergies and cross-contamination, they have recently introduced a dedicated Gluten Free Menu.

Called there today. I had a small breakfast and my husband had a gluten free breakfast. Lovely food, well cooked. Not so easy to find a place that does gluten free food. But this place does and its lovely. Nice surroundings too. Will call again.Called again today. Food served not long after we arrived. Beautifully cooked, delicious and gluten free for my husband! What we particularly liked was the fact that the two people serving at counter were so polite and helpful and also showed us a menu with gf (gluten free) items marked up on. Excellent! Also called today 21/03/23 (after a number of visits) and again we were not disappointed. I had another lovely breakfast and so did my husband. Lovely atmosphere and Kath the tall, slim lady who came to clear our table stopped to chat and was so friendly and welcoming even tho she s always so busy. Full marks to both her and her sister Rebecca who run the place and the young lad (sorry didnt get his name) who s always so pleasant and polite, who took our orders and served us. Nothing is a problem for any of them. Such a lovely place to visit. Love it.

We love this place! Our family has been back and forth for several years and have never had anything bad to say about the place, staff or food. Always a warm welcome & great food. The prices are also very competitive. That applies to their breakfast, lunches & even Christmas dinners! Couldn’t recommend this place enough :)

What a lovely warm and welcoming Café with Gluten Free Breakfasts and other meals, sandwiches etc. I have enjoyed eating here (3 times now), being Coeliac and requiring GF options, the friendly staff so understand about cross contamination.
18 of us gathered here for a wonderful Christmas Celebration in a lovely cozy room next to the cafe. They offered all meals with gluten & lactose free options plus they have delicious Vegan & Vegetarian choices too. The Turkey was deliciously moist and extremely well presented with lots of perfectly cooked vegetables to choose from ?❤️ All the staff were helpful and lovely too. We will definitely return. Thank you

Ordered and paid. They overcharged me for a breakfast roll and peppermint tea. Checked prices on menu and definite overcharge. Guy serving didn't even say hello, just took order and payment. Roll was decent enough

Grandmas 90th birthday party was lovely. We were supposed to be in smaller function room but the staff moved us into the big room due to the heat, this was a lovely room, really clean, tables looked lovely. The staff went above and beyond were all lovely and very helpful. We had buffet B which was more than enough food for 30 people and it was all delicious, we also had a vegan guest and there was enough for her to choose from. Thank you so much for making the day so special would definitely have an event here in the future and will be coming to the cafe.
