On approaching the White Hart it looks like a very tidy village pub, you get the feeling that you will get some good pub grub however you will be disappointed.I ordered drinks first and had to pay as you order instead of building up a tab and paying at the end, this never sits well with me.The menu was huge with grill curry’s traditional pub grub etc , immediately I was thinking how can they do all of these items well.Onto food I ordered a mixed grill it arrived fairly quickly and I did not have to wait any longer than reasonably expected. The meat was low quality with thesteak having lots of waste ( I had better steak from Tesco earlier in the week for £3.70. )gammon overly salty with little meat on itChicken was dryRibs were the worst I’ve ever had dry and unseasonedSausage was cheap and nastyThe bbq sauce was overly sweet with no bbq flavourThe chips were the best thing on the plate but the portion size is what I’d expect on a child’s meal. Also the mixed grill had a salad and coleslaw which I would have preferred peas and onion rings.I was very disappointed with the food as was my partner this was not a cheap meal either with a pint and a half a coke costing £9.70 and a beef dripping sauce for £6.Looking at the menu other items were extremely expensive ( chips and cheese £10).I will not be returning here again.

Have visited this Public House at least three times and never had a complaint. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The food is delicious absolutely delicious so I think a visit is something not to be missed. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. Do yourself a favour call in and see if you agree with my review. Oh and the Mulled Wine certainly gave a glow on a dismal day.

I had dinner here tonight. They said just walk in and we had the best service, very friendly and fast service. Food was delicious and fair priced. Would definitely recommend ?

A beautiful little pub/restaurant found just 5 minutes off the A48 Carmarthen to Cross Hands. They were very happy to accommodate a table of 7 at very short notice after we had our reservation at Tafarn Y Pheonix cancelled because we didn’t realise pre-ordering their food was compulsory. However they did us a favour. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The owners and staff were very warm and welcoming. My party had a wonderful evening and all have vowed to be visiting again.

Beautiful Pub. Warm ecclectic interior, fantastic food and service with a huge choice on the menu, picturesque outside, so beautiful whatever the weather. We love it and are so lucky it is local to

Another charming inn off the beaten path near Carmarthen. Built in 1371 the current owners have maintained that old world charm plus delved into brewing. The food is excellent and reaping the rewards of their brewing labour is a delight.

Beautiful looking stone country pub, with a lovely eclectic but quite Welsh inside. Staff very pleasant and lots of seating. Food was pretty good considering the size of the menu, where I'd imagine it might be difficult to cook from fresh. So depends on your own personal preference. But we did find there was quite a bit of waste and next time would probably order a main meal between us.

A rustic and historic Inn, dating back to the 1300s. A wide ranging menu, also serving Welsh dishes. A very tasty meal..Dietary restrictions: Prepared for dietary needs.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere.Dissapointed that it is only a Debit card that is accepted as payment.Main course menue can be a bit more varied and possibly not such a big platefull. Slightly expensive for a beggining of the week meal out.Vegetarian options: Not enough optionsParking: ExcelentWheelchair accessibility: Could be better

Poor food badly presented. Menu is in a time warp.I wasted £100.I doubt if the cook would qualify for a job at McDonald's

We stopped in on our way home from saundersfoot for some food. I've been here many times with my wife and with the R.A.T.S real ale tasting society.Today, I enjoyed a 20 oz white heart own cut steak. Absolutely perfectly cooked (medium), it was huge. My wife had the steak and ale pie, and my son had whisky chicken his partner had the hunter's chicken burger. The grandkids one had a pizza. The other had pasta bake with cheese. All portions were nice and large, making it a brilliant value for money. They brew their own beer and ciders here in their family run brewery (coles brewery) they also make their own gin, whisky, vodka, and rum, which they distil themselves on site. All produce is available to buy.If you're ever at a loose end and fancy a beautiful meal in a very welcoming family run pub. This is the perfect location. If you're looking to pick up Christmas or birthday alcohol I highly recommend you come and experience the massive variety of drinks they have to offer.Thank you for another beautiful mealHopefully see you soonKid-friendliness: The family made my grandchildren feel very welcome they are 9 and 4Parking: Their are parking areas both out the front and out the rear of this beautiful location
