“We went here for Mother's Day. We were greeted by a very welcoming, friendly and professional member of staff who took us to our table and explained the ordering system. I don't know his name but he was wearing a black shirt and trousers and had brown hair and a beard. He was excellent and really created a perfect impression of the place. Made us feel relaxed and at home straight away. The rest of the staff were very friendly and efficient too and they all made a fuss of my dog and made sure we knew where the dog facilities were. We had a lovely roast meal and delicious puddings. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day to have another meal. This time we had fish and chips and steak. the fish was beautifully cooked, as was the steak. We will definitely be returning. thank you to your excellent staff who really make the place special.”

“My fave costa, lovely friendly staff..always clean and tidy and has a good vibe..love the window seat to watch the world go by. Dog friendly, our go to place. Cakes delicious ?..Drinks always spot on!..they do the best large hot chocolate the size of a bucket with cream n marshmallows..”

The Eagle and Child in Gwaenysgor is a real gem! The food was absolutely lovely – fresh, tasty, and well presented – and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. A warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend!”

“Table of 7. All had a lovely tasty meal (curry, chilli, lasagne and burgers) Portions were good sizes and the puddings were amazing!! Staff were very attentive throughout. Friendly pub atmosphere with pool table, darts board and a jukebox. Very good prices and a huge selection of drinks at the bar. Dog friendly. 100% recommend.”

“Fab pub in Prestatyn, parking is great, plenty of space. A huge beer garden which is very well looked after, the pub is very warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly. Bingo is great on a Sunday hosted by Dan & Linda, it’s a fab evening with some lovely food at half time. A really family friendly pub”

We were only staying in Prestatyn for one night but decided on this excellent little chippy for dinner.

Fish is freshly cooked to order and was light and flaky, tasty chips and excellent gravy. If you are a local, or if you are just visiting, I would highly recommend a visit here.”
