I have a theory that chips get better the further north you travel, but you don't really need to go beyond Karl's Fish and Chicken in the High Street in Prestatyn. There's been a chip shop here since time immemorial and this place has never disappointed....fabulous freshly cooked chips, reasonable price and generous portions. Always enjoy visiting here. Right on the Offa's Dyke trail as well.

After a long long wait we finally got served .When we got to the car the meal was absolutely disgusting we couldn't eat it and put it in the bin . Absolutely waste of money .Such a shame it used to be the best chippy around .We will now use Les and Rita chip shop in Rhyl £11.50 and an absolutely scrumptious meal

All I can say was on a weekend family holiday and this place was fantastic... The fish was ample the chips were great. I know when we go back where i'm going again. Brilliant and well priced!

Why do you close so early! It's a Friday night and it's not even 8pm and you've already closed. And your next door to a pub. Honestly it's ludicrous.

Fish & chips were superb. The fish was fresh and tasty, cooked to order, and had the nicest batter ever. The chips were, obviously made from quality potatoes, and even though the portion size was very substantial, I ate every scrap! The lady who served me was helpful and polite, and the prices were extremely competitive. It was great value for money, and I can't wait to enjoy another meal from here, next time that we visit Prestatyn.

Well what can i say awful chips cooked to within an inch of there life. So overcooked you couldnt eat them. Wouldnt go again sorry. Needs somebody to take charge

Came across Karls by accident and it was the best accident! Lightly battered fish was paper thin batter which was delicious and the chips were so light and non greasy. The friendly server was very helpful and welcoming, this is one chippy we can highly recommend. You will not be disappointed
