An excellent dining experience.

We arrived damp and tired after a hike, and were given the warmest of welcomes. It's a beautiful cosy old pub. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Good beer, delicious home-cooked food. Would highly recommend. I had vegan sausage, mash and gravy which was very tasty.

Wonderful good home cooked Sunday lunch for 8 of us including 3 vegetarians and a 2.5 Yr old. All of us catered for perfectly, star was the cauliflower cheese.

100% recommend!Myself and my partner met some friends there originally only for a main course and a beer or two… We all ended up all having starters, mains, puddings & quite a few more beers!Roll on the summer months and we will definitely be driving down this way again!Oh and to add my partner is gluten free and there were plenty of options for her to select from which was nice! and the staff were so accommodating with that!Dietary restrictions: Offered Gluten free!

Lovely pub. My wife and I had a Valentines meal there which was made really special and the steaks we ordered were top quality. Camped in our campervan on site too which made it nice and easy. Rhi and Jas are fantastic hosts. Will be back!

What a gem of a pub. Not a gastro pub, but a pub that serves home made food. Soup seemed to have fresh ingredients and was flavoursome. Cottage pie was just right Cheese board was generous. Sensible prices.Local beer on tap. Friendly and attentive hosts.People playing trivial pursuit behind me.Great atmosphere with roaring fire.Proper pub. Can't think of a negative.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. It’s a beautiful rural pub with a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Not posh but that’s not what we were after! Instead – good, honest pub food, perfect for a cold Winter’s afternoon. They serve food from 12-8pm on a Sunday, which is great. We will definitely be back.

Went here for a Roast last Sunday , it was delicious ? loads of veg , good meat , decent price ...was recommended to have extra cauliflower cheese and to be fair it's the best cauliflower cheese I've ever had. Thanks Peck.

Found our new local!Popped in for a drink a few months back and feel like we’ve never left ??Awesome atmosphere and always a friendly face behind the bar.Had food several times and never been disappointed. Normal menu is a good selection of pub food, Thursday night curry’s are really tasty too and their Sunday lunch is awesome. There is always something going on too, good selection of entertainment, quiz night, different band’s and open mic nights.
