I often call at the take away as an end of the week treat. Everything is lovely and fresh and the chips are proper one's like my mam used to make. They are always pleasant and busy.

Ordered a cheeseburger to take out and I have to say it's the first time I have had a cheeseburger with grated cheese and the cheese not melted, I opened the the tray and immediately thought somethings not right with this, it had grated cheese on it which was cold and the burger itself did not seem hot. Sat on the beach wall to eat it and on biting into it realised it was lukewarm at best and the cheese was never going to melt, the centre of the burger looked undercooked and pinkish in colour. Threw it into the bin. The elderly couple who run this place have been doing so for years so you'd have thought they could at least knock up a decent cheeseburger, HOT BURGER AND MELTED CHEESE PLEASE????

One of the nicest fish and chips in rhyl. The fish tasted very fresh and the chip was hand made not frozen not like some other cafes

Not good overall, the all day breakfast is fine other than that says fresh everywhere menus walls sign etc. The chicken Kiev would've bounced if it were dropped, four of the meals had the "fresh" chips with them, they were more like crisps. The fresh Kiev's were probs farmfoods own the kids dippers not as good as Birdseye ones. I asked if I could exchange my Kiev meal for a breakfast, was left waiting quite a while then given a refund without as much as a apology, by a very stern and unpleasant more senior female member of staff possibly the owner. Had to ask for a refund on one of kids meal too as the little one wouldn't eat it. The young waitress was polite and attentive but unfortunately the food was subpar to say the least.Probably best to avoid.
