Hotel in need of refurbishment/ upgrade. Rooms clean, basic and outdated. No USB sockets, which are a basic travel requirement in this age. Great location near Rhuddlan Castle and amazing staff. Overpriced for the rooms.

Basic outdated rooms. No USB sockets, so needed to buy an adapted to charge my phone. Basic tv without Internet. This is probably due to the really poor WiFi connection. The air conditioning was good and necessary due to the heavy duvet tog on the bed in summer! The bathroom was basic with an annoying tap that i could only run at low pressure or myself and the room would get soaked. The toilet flush was weak. I hate the fixed shower head, but the shower had good pressure. The plus points are that tea and coffee was available in the reception to get what you needed. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are a great team and all fantastic. Always happy to help and show genuine hospitality.

We paid an extra £10 per room for the early check in, Yvette on the reception made sure everything was ready for us for when we arrived just after 11am and moved rooms around to accommodate our request to be near to eachother. We would definitely return again, it was actually a shame to just have the one night's stay, it all felt very relaxed. Can't fault the staff.

Great stay, lovely and friendly staff, a special mention for the lovely receptionist Yvette, who went out her way to accommodate us and nothing was too much bother. Nice meals, and breakfast in the morning.

From first to last, everyone at the Premier Inn, Rhuddlan went out of their way to make us welcome and to meet the needs of al three generations in our family of seven. A delightful holiday in spite of some cool and some wet weather but everyone of us would like to return.

I requested my rooms to be nextdoor as I have 2 children with medical needs. So that I can check up on them during the night if they were unwell. This was not done, we were on 2 different floors. Wifi was appalling and breakfast was served in a pub on the hotel grounds being Muslim this is not permissible, I was disappointed when I was told this at checking, so had to find somewhere to take my family for breakfast every morning , which was inconvenient. I feel this should have been made clear on booking so I could have made arrangements in advance.

Nice hotel, good location. Next door is a restaurant with whom they have a partnership and do some great deals for dinner and breakfast. The staff were lovely and happy to help with any queries. My room had a single and a double bed which were very comfy. They only clean your room when asked, which you need to do before midday, which I quite liked. The room has a small kettle with tea/coffee sachets but no fridge. There are free supplies of the sachets in reception. The shower was awesome - very powerful mixer assembly with jets coming from the side/bottom of the assembly itself which does your shins/calfs.My room had a broken extractor fan which the staff weren't too fussed about repairing, commenting that there was a window in tye room so the steam can still get out that way - I guess they'll be having the repair company in soon to fix the tiles when they start clattering to the floor! The room was very quiet with secondary glazing so didn't get disturbed by the road nearby. There is a Starbucks and a KFC next door with a large Aldi across the road so everything was catered for that I needed, and the TableTable restaurant was nice enough next door, although there's normally quite a wait for service. Make sure you book a table as it gets busy. There are 4 disabled parking spaces next to the front door however they were full on a couple of occasions so we had to find another space - luckily there are lots of regular spaces and we were able to find one on the end of a row. The entrance to the hotel is wheelchair friendly with no kerb.We booked as a large group, and as such expected a discount. I was very disappointed, and actually offended, when we ended up having to pay a higher rate as they had to split the booking due to their inadequate booking system - once the first half had been booked it bumped up the price completely for the second group - appalling customer service on that front

Great hotel ideally situated for exploring the delights of North Wales. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast staff were polite and very attentive when you described how you wanted your cooked breakfast to be served.

Desk staff are efficient and kind. Bottom line though, it's still a Premier Inn, OK if the price is right.

The restaurant was very good value, excellent courteous helpful staff, who despite being very busy gave us excellent service. The table waiting staff, especially Martina were very efficient. The food represented very good value.

The latest rip off is to charge you an extra £10 if you want to check in early. I've no problem with someone wanting to pay the extra in order to guarantee that their room will be available early but I object to arriving a little earlier than 3pm and even though the room is ready, you are not allowed to check in unless you pay an extra £10. We arrived at 2.30pm and were told that we could only check in if we paid an extra £10. We declined. At that time, there were 2 people on reception, obviously with nothing to do. When 3pm arrived, there was a queue of 4 couples in front of us (as they'd had to wait too) and the reception was now manned by only 1 person. Presumably this is a deliberate ploy in order to encourage people to fork out the extra £10 in future. How about you go back to the 2pm check in times that you had before COVID. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, the beds are lumpy and creaky, it is surrounded by noisy roads right next to a Starbucks, KFC and Aldi, you have to put up with a 15tog duvet in the height of summer and the pub next door serves overpriced microwave meals.

Excellent place to stay if visiting north Wales. Spacious clean rooms with a bath and Aircon. Pub next door. Aldi Starbucks and KFC over the road. Loads of free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely stay here again. And it's surprisingly quiet with double glazing. Hardly any noise from the A55 or other roads. Lovely walks in the area across the river to the village that has everything you need.Rooms: Large comfortable. Bath and Aircon.Food & drinks: Pub next door

Either go back to 2pm check ins (as they were prior to COVID) or get rid of this disgraceful £10 rip off charge. Arrived 30 mins early and not allowed to check in unless we paid an extra £10. If someone wants to arrive at 12.30pm and wants to guarantee their room will be available then let them pay this fee but if someone arrives early and the room just happens to be ready, just let them check in! There were 2 on reception when we arrived and as soon as 3pm comes along, one of them leaves so just one dealing with the queue of people wanting to check in.

Excellent two night.Staff very friendly, room was spacious , clean and very comfortable.WI-FI signal could have been stronger and maybe a choice of having a feather pillow for extra comfort. All in all a lovely stay ?

A pleasant stay. We had an overnight stay and included the meal deal which was really good. Staff in the restaurant next door were very helpful and friendly. We know hospitality is not an easy place to work in but we really appreciated the upbeat and friendly attitude of staff there. We had a comfy room but had to keep the window closed due to traffic noise. Location was great for access to where we wanted to get to.
