nice interior, excellent food, good service, and pleasant waitresses, but I'm not sure about their outfits (raggy sweaters and boots). I definitely recommend it for a food experience, probably the best in Rhyl

As a couple in our 40’s we decided to book a table at The Bistro for a special occasion. The quality of the food was excellent and decent portion sizes too which we like! My husband had the garlic mushrooms and I had the fish cakes which were amazing. We both opted for the slow braised featherblade of beef for our main which was also amazing. I don’t eat mushrooms so they made mine without, this was no problem at all for them. The mains came with potato dauphinoise, small roast potatoes and vegetables, which you can order more of. We shared an Eaton mess for pudding which again was amazing. The service was very good, all the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. £24 for 2 courses, £31 for 3 courses. Great homemade food, good portion sizes and great service. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

This was our first visit to the Bistro, it’s a lovely restaurant calm atmosphere and friendly staff. Good choices on the menu and the food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. Two things left me and my sister disappointed - the restrooms were not as clean as I would have thought them to be, leaky pipe and one toilet not so clean, my other gripe was with the service - not for the food or our first drink that arrived promptly, we waited quite a while to attract the waitresses attention and asked for another glass of Pepsi, that didn’t arrive so when she took our desert plates we asked for two lattes, after 15 mins they didn’t arrive so I paid the bill at the bar and told her to cancel them, she said that they had run out of milk (a busy restaurant like that) and someone had gone out to fetch some, we passed him with the milk on out way out. I would visit again and would hope that the service was much better, if it was busier then I think that customers would go without and leave I know I would

Absolutely fantastic meal. The steaks were superb. The Baileys cheesecake perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Excellent wines too. Staff professional and friendly. Will definitely eat here again and as often as possible.

Four of us booked a table here to celebrate my sister-in-law's wedding anniversary. Meal was fine (we had the lamb), we were then asked if we'd like anything else. My brother-in-law asked for four glasses of port to round the evening off. Fifteen minutes later we were still waiting, with no apologies or explanation, when I enquired at the bar I was told that someone had nipped out (Aldi was shut, so presumably an off-licence) to buy a bottle! We waited another 15 mins - still no sign. After half-an-hour's wait we cancelled the order and paid our bill. No proper explanation or apology was offered. (As we were leaving a member of staff hurried through and out to the back - I guess with the bottle!) Seemed an incredible way to run a restaurant, the lack of openness and honesty was the most annoying thing and the lack of any attempt to apologise or rectify the situation.
