Sadly the customer service and organisation seems to have declined recently. Having visited several times since the new management came in, we and several other customers experienced incorrect orders and excessive wait times for food and drink. We have always enjoyed visiting the Harbour Hub Cafe as the food and staff were fantastic, but on our last visit we were queuing for the best part of 30 mins to order and then another 40 mins waiting for our food. We understand that new staff need to be trained and become familiar with running of the cafe but after nearly a month things don't seem to be improving and it's not even peak season yet.We do hope that things will improve soon as we don't want to take our custom elsewhere and this review isn't aiming to be offensive; it's purely to give feedback and highlight where things need to improve as we love this little cafe. We genuinely wish you good luck for future success of the Harbour Hub Cafe.

New staff - wait 20 mins for a regular latte - staff need training and also on interaction with customers

Called in yesterday at 12.00. the cafe was fairly busy, but we didn't have long to wait for excellent beans on toast. Lovely thick, wholemeal bread and a good helping of beans and at a very reasonable £2.75. Superb setting on NCR5.

The Hub Cafe was recommended to us, we had a walk around Kinmel Bay and was ready for a nice hot drink to warm us up. The queue was horrendous but we waited as there wasn't anywhere else around. The staff were clearly rushed off their feet, but no apology for the long wait or service with a smile, we drank up and left.

Just got back from Easter Sunday lunch at the Bistro. Very tasty freshly cooked food. Pleasant staff. Some tables have far reaching views out over the harbour, denbighshire hills and Snowdonia. Would visit again

Honestly, this place should be a gold mine. There’s a beautiful beach near by, there are plenty of free parking spaces and there are two pubs that serve all day a 100 yds away. That’s the good stuff, now try and get served. Okay, I have been here many times and been served when the sea front is empty, but as soon as you have a few visitors, forget it !! This review is purely on the basis that I am fed up waiting, once again. The food is good and the drinks are nice. It isn’t cheap, but the location dictates that a little I guess. There were three staff on today. Whilst in the queue I never saw one smile or any real interaction with the customers from the staff. It looked like they were all really fed up and had no desire to organise themselves to speed up the service. People in the queue left in front of me and I joined them a few minutes later. Come on. If you are running a business train the staff properly and make sure they make you feel welcome. It’s not just about having decent food and drinks. I have no idea how much income is being turned away with the shambolic service. It has to be significant. Last time I came here they even closed for staff lunch around 2pm. Shape up, it’s a beautiful spot and deserves better.
