Excellent service from the lovely Amea who was very attentive to our party of 18, throughout our whole meal. Food was incredible and exceeded any expectations we had. Will definitely be visiting again in the future. Also, the portions are huge!!

Absolutely brilliant roast dinner. Have lived in the area for several years and this the best in Bridgend by far. Came in with family of 4 and all served very quickly. Dog friendly too, puppy sat under table. :-)

Best Sunday lunch ever. Beef was melt in the mouth and Yorkshire puddings were almost as big as the plate. Staff wonderful and super helpful. Definitely be returning soon.

This restaurant is perfect for a quite and nice time out with family and friends, the service was great everyone was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and no one was left waiting, staff are very kind and are also very hardworking, I am over the moon with the service at the ty-risha ale house, I have been going here since i was a child and they have never been anything other than perfect.I would recommend coming here if you are looking for a calm day out with family or friends.
Such lovely staff behind the bar, serving. All willing to help. There was one lovely waitress called Summer... i just would like her boss to know what a wonderful member of staff you have. Even my daughter commented on how lovely she was. Food was lovely also ?

We booked this pub for a family birthday meal after having been in the past and enjoyed. As it was curry I night I ordered beef madras. When it arrived the taste of the curry was ok but the quality of "beef" was awful..it tatsed of just fat, and not of beef at all, especially comapred to the steak.and ale pie my mother had which was tender and lovely. I told the manager and he did swap this to a chicken tikkaa massala for me. The quality of meat was better but it tasted bland and i was again disappinted, especially for curry evening. Also by the point I had received this the rest of my family had finished and noone came to check on my meal during eating or offered us any kind of compensation. When the waiter eventually collected our plates I mentioned the disappointment and the fact noone had checked on us and he said he was unaware and didnt even ask if we wanted pudding. The manager didn't at any other point come to check on us or offer money off the bill. The other meals did taste ok, but this was tarred by lack of customer service. Will not be returning, which is the shame as in the past its been great.
