Needed refreshments whilst exploring Solva, so gave Mamgu Welshcakes Café a go. We sat outside as we had our dog, but they allow dogs inside, if they are well behaved. We had a decaf Americano and a choca mocha. Both were delightful, and we had a lemon Welshcake and a Choca Mocha Welshcake. They warmed them up (sorry for the ignorance, but that's a first for us) and they were delicious, so fluffy and light. Staff were lovely, so thoroughly recommend them if in Solva.

Absolutely delicious! Can't recommend this place enough. And the cheese and leek Welshcakes are to die for!

Wonderful choice for all our family's oddities, the veggie breakfast was especially impressive though I think we wouldn't get three pancakes again... Even hungry garcons couldn't finish

Amazing selection of Welsh cakes that are all so delicious ! Great coffee too and the staff were lovely :) (great playlists and cosy vibes)

Fantastic local business serving great food in the heart of Solva. We enjoyed the wide choice that catered for vegans and gluten free as well as full breakfasts with the added delicious Welsh cakes. With limited seating you might have to wait a short time to get a table, but it is worth the wait.

Delicious vegan breakfast! Make sure you book though as they get really busy.

We always visit Mamgus every time we are in Solva but would recommend booking as very popular. We ordered breakfast for four and service was quick. Superb quality, I had the veggie breakfast, beautiful and the savoury Welsh cake was delicious.

First time having lunch here and was very very nice. Would highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat.
Visited for breakfast and the food was fabulous. Also took away some fresh Welsh cakes, which are deliciious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolute must to book in the holiday season, but we had a lovely table at the back for breakfast as requested due to our nosy dog. Food and service was fab and we hope to be back. :)

The food, as usual, was outstanding with an interesting and varied menu that caters for all ages and tastes. It is our favourite place year round and is an eagerly anticipated destination for all of our family when they visit. The family tradition is breakfast at MamGu's but this has grown to lunch and coffee stops too and no visit is complete without a fabulous box of Welshcakes to go! I highly recommend this superb cafe.

Nice looking local cafe in beautiful Solva, as I only had a latte that's all I can comment on. It was the worst decaf coffee I've had in a very long time! It arrived looking and tasting like hot milk, the waitress put another shot in which slightly change the colour, it still tasted dismal. In hindsight we should have asked for the money back. With the right training staff should have seen how different it looked to a caffine coffee and offered something different. It's really not difficult to source good decaffeinated coffee, you just have to do a bit of research!Ps the staff were lovely and welcoming, I can’t give a higher rating though.
