A lovely traditional Inn situated in Talybont wales. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is good value for money, On a Sunday there is a carvery . The Inn is also dog friendly? . At the rear there is a good sized children's play area. The Inn is closed on a Tuesday. The kitchen opens for food at 5pm in the week . ?

beautiful place to go for a meal all homemade and marvellous portions which leave you fit to burst. We love visiting here whenever we go to our cabin in Trawsfynydd so much so that my partner decided to propose to me there. Sadly due to trees being unsafe he couldn't propose out by the waterfall and proposed out the front in its pretty seating area. Our special place and will never forget 16,02,24 and is just another reason to visit here now.Wheelchair accessibility: there are a couple of steps down to the toilet but have have a good sturdy bannister if your unsteady as I am but not suitable for wheelchair users

A pub with one of the most impressive beer gardens I've seen. You can sit by a beautiful ( and often very noisy) river.Fair beer selection

Visited twice over the weekend. Lunch was nice. Decided to return the next day for an evening meal. Husband enjoyed his pie and chips, my lasagna was terrible, very overcooked and the garlic bread was cold. Fortunately the dog ate most of the lasagna. No one came to ask if everything was ok-which is really strange these days, it wasn't as if they were busy. Explained to the young waitress that it wasn't good and asked her to tell the chef, she just giggled nervously, so I know that the message wouldn't be relayed. I felt that it was a total waste of money. Nice to have a dog area, but it felt uncomfortable being at the back of the pub, across from an open door leading to the toilet corridor. The pub needs some TLC to make it feel more cosy- especially in the dog area.

Dog friendly section, friendly staff and a good tasty meal, can’t ask for much more. Between us we had scampi followed by cheesecake and steak followed by chocolate fudge cake, delicious!

Arrived in the early hours of opening, quiet and not long wait for food. Food is amazing and the chips are deliciously crisp and salted to perfection. Good selection of drinks and the pub itself is very clean. Would recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: The main area is accessible for wheelchairs. There are stairs to some seating.
