This is the 2nd time we have ordered home delivery and the 2nd time there has been an item missing. We have eaten at the restaurant in the past and it has been very good, but I feel the standards have dropped, the keema naan which was missing tonight arrived about 10 mins after complaining and there was hardly any meat in it, so ended up.in the bin. Time to look for a new Indian takeaway

We regularly order a takeaway from Red Rose on the quieter nights and are always impressed! We had booked a table for 6 people this evening and it just felt chaotic. We had to ask on 3 separate occasions to order our food, drink orders were a constant confusion as the servers wouldn't write anything down and we felt we were waiting for far too long. There was shouting across the restaurant from one server to another. I completely understand that it was busy, but we were never checked on, and we only really managed to order drinks as they were clearing tables from a previous course. Beyond this, the food was incredibly good, but I think it was at least 1 hour and 45 minutes after our table time until our mains arrived. Generally really poor service, and to top it off, we were asked by a server for tips at the end of our meal. I paid for the table (£170 in total) and was responded with "no tips?" We were go smacked! Such a shame from a usual good place for food!

Ordered via Uber. The order took 2 hours to arrive, the ETA was 20 minutes (I live 15 minutes away). Once the food arrived it was stone cold, the lids were not secured properly, the inside of the bag and the containers were covered with and leaking oil, and missing parts of the order. Really really upsetting, as in the past I have enjoyed this restaurant. The phone number attached to their Uber account does not work. They also changed the Korma recipe? It tasted closer to vegetable soup than a korma... the chicken was tough and dry.I wouldn't have minded the oil all over the bag or the extremely long delivery time had the food just been hot but it was disgusting.UPDATE: upon emptying the curry out, we found PLASTIC in the sauce. Looked to be packaging of some sort, a really lovely ending to this terrible experience! (sarcasm)

I hate to post negative reviews, but the food was a huge let down. The curry didn't taste great, the chicken was tough and curry had lots of water. Naan breads lacked flavour. Delivery aspect was good, and it arrived hot. This is my personal opinion, and in gutted it didn't meet my expectations!

Great food as always. Good sevice, sadly there was only me and one other couple there which is a big shame as everyone is missing out on a lovely place and great food. Bare in mind, I was there early so I don't know if it filled up later...hope it did.

Absolutely terrible food and did not deliver all the items of food that I ordered. When I Called they said to me next time you call we will sort it. I wouldn’t give this food to my dog.

It was a long wait for our meals I had chicken sag, this was lovely. The chicken was moist and soft. The Chicken Korma the chicken was tough and way way too sweet. Everybody did enjoy themselves . Service was good.

Food was terrible. Group of three of us went there, first time under this ownership. We all agreed the food was awful. You can have nice for in the 2 for £10 Asda bags. The chips…. The chips looked exactly like the boxed microwave chips. The food was bland and tasteless. Korma.. with no coconut and spicy.. horrible food. Will never return. The person who served us was very abrupt and seemed to get annoyed that we were taking a while to decide on what to order. The restaurant needs some work too. Almost every light was missing the bulb. Wouldn’t recommend.

Worst indian shop I've ever ordered because the food is bit raw and A man with glasses and fat one who delivers the food is so rude and unrespectful after that order I told myself to never buy a food from this shop anymore you lost a regular customer red rose.

Just ordered a takeaway from Red Rose. I do not usually write reviews but this is an exception. It was honestly the worst takeaway I have ever had. Loads of food, very tasteless. I wasted most of it but actually only ate some of it because I was hungry. Most of the food went in the bin. What a waste of £20.00, which in these times is a lot of money! I will never order or visit there again. Very disappointed ☹️

I tried ordering a takeaway via their website, but it didn't seem to work, so I went to the restaurant and found that the actual prices were higher. My food was ready quickly, portions were good value and the taste was OK but... I ordered a chapati and received a tortilla. Yes, a Mexican tortilla. Having had both on many occasions I know the difference! A tortilla is not what I paid for and it is unacceptable for an Indian restaurant to pass off an item as something that it definitely is not.

Monday 8th August, we’ve just got home from an awful evening. There was only one man greeting, waiting serving, he was very abrupt, rude and intimidating and above all not helpful or welcoming. We all drank soft drinks, which were flat as they were served from plastic two litre bottles, the food was really bad, naan breads were greasy, I ordered a vindaloo which I agree is normally hot, but mine was tasteless but stupidly hot, way over spiced. There was only one other table occupied all evening. I shall not return and I suggest you don’t either. At £115 for four of us, I’m a little bit cheesed off! I would have complained to the member of staff attending, but his attitude was La king and I feel I would have been wasting my time.

We ate at the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious! The only negative thing was the delivery drivers kept on leaving the door open and it was freezing and wet! Other than that we would come back here.
