Nice building inside and out, friendly staff. didn't have what I wanted on the menu the food was overpriced, not value for money. The dessert was the best part of the experiences. Will not be going there again

Fabulous food just be very hungry when you go there I couldn't finish the chicken in cheese meal because it was bigger than I thought and usually have really no room for desert cause the main was so big unless you are a very big eater good thing I didn't have starters

We were travelling to Abergavenny but, given the appalling traffic due to roadworks on the A465, we called into The Mountain Air [10 Sept] to have some late lunch. The restuarant was quiet and the staff attentive.\\nThe food was hot and tasty and the desserts excellent.\\nIt was a lovely lunch and we'll definitely come back the next time we're in the area.\\nA recommended eatery.

Really enjoyed a mixed grill at lunchtime! Perfectly cooked, tender steak, gammon, large lamb chop and sausage with chips and peas followed by the most lush, home made waffle with ice cream (to die for) and white chocolate sauce! Had an added surprise of 20% the bill during September! Everything is reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive and the Covid safety measures that were in place were exceptional. They really have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe! No one could do better! Will most definitely be back soon for my waffle fix! ?? Thank you all! Stay safe! ?

I Enjoy going out for a Sunday lunch, my partner and I went here for the carvery. Not impressed at all, very disappointed. The meat was dry and the veg was very under cooked.

Our Sunday carvery lunch. The good things: excellent roast meat and delicious real gravy, very friendly, very helpful staff. But, all the veg were oddly soggy, mushy, broken and pale in colour, and the roast spuds had such an incredibly hard, thick crust that I was unable to cut mine up properly even after I requested a sharp steak knife. The sage & onion stuffing was DEFINITELY not cooked but just shaken out of a packet & mixed with hot water and then served. Yuk!
