Went here for a Christmas meal (£26) for a 3 course meal. Expecting a home made meal. Starter - tinned soup with cold bread - a roll Main - well! Beef was packet beef (didn’t eat it) Yorkshire was small and soggy, couldn’t eat. Stuffing dry and cold. Carrots were tinned and flavourless, two small roasted potatoes that were also flavourless. Was hoping for a lot more.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the rowen tree .considering we booked it last minute they were very accommodating staff were welcoming and very attentive. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot and a good portion size too. Desert was excellent good choice of both to chicken beef lamb or a mixture. Great atmosphere would definitely recommended.Parking: Parking outsideKid-friendliness: Waitress made such a fuss over my grandsonWheelchair accessibility: Level ground into the rowen tree

Great food.. Girls serving are a credit to the Pub.I know the meal I posted doesn't look much but its all I wanted. Sent loads back. Tons of gravey if yout into it. I'd give the meal 10/10.I WILL be back

Second visit, second amazing Steak. Very friendly staff and well worth a visit. Food takes a short while to come but that is only because its cooked to order and well worth the wait. I'll definitely be back very soon.
