Had the most delicious meal at Salt Marsh last night. I had Confi of duck with miso and satay and the most incredible salted caramel cheesecake I've ever had. Incredible restaurant, a real find!

Easily the best meal of our trip. Just a fabulous experience from start to finish. Scott and his team are incredible hosts. Rare to get such a personal touch from an incredible restaurant. Four of us had cauliflower to start with and they were to die for. Mains were even better. Two of our group are vegans and they were so well catered for. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Would highly recommend. Don’t forget to book. An amazing way to bring in Xmas. ? ????????
This place has been in Tywyn for a good few years now and hopefully will stay for a few years to come.Family run the staff treat you as though you are a member of that family and will make you feel as if you've stepped in to the dining room to meet up with them.The food is marvellous. Rather than a few dozen or more meals you get a tried and tested menu with perhaps a dozen depending on the specials and that changes at the beginning of each year. Its really quite nice to be able try each meal from the menu. Specials are excellent. Usually the chef has sourced some fresh fish from local sources . Its always a treat to try them.Drinks prices are the same as most restaurants but if he isn't too busy ask the proprietor to mix you a Martini when you get seated. I've done so for years and cant find a bar that comes close to replicating it. Seriously,its the best you will taste for a long time.Book. Its popular. You will see why if you go there.

We visited for a family birthday dinner, we were well received. All we can say it’s a Fantastic place, with fantastic food, we were well looked after from start to finish. I would highly recommend here to eat to anyone asking. Thanks guys for looking after us all. ??

We have been visiting Tywyn for years but never ate out there so decided to book a table at Salt Marsh Kitchen as a treat. The food was excellent, great selection of drinks & really lovely staff who went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Would highly recommend & we will be back!

Lovely Restaurant in Tywyn Soon as we walked in very friendly atmosphere was friendly owner and staff had different wines and bottle beer etc. Food was amazing I had mackerel to start and sea bass main husband had the pork to start and fresh haddock homemade chips peas tarte sauce ? we were both full up no room for sweet. We can recommend here and will be back even just for the sweet Amazing ?.

The team at Salt Marsh Kitchen were super helpful. We were looking for somewhere to take out food from (as we were travelling with our dog) that served good quality sea food and the gentleman we spoke to checked in with us and gave us an updated menu via facebook. We called on the day to order, and it was ready in 20-30 minutes. The restaurant looks lovely inside and has a nice selection of local gins and whiskeys. We had some local cider which was delicious. The paella was everything I wanted it to be. Really generous portions and full of flavour. My partner had the fish and chips which he said were great (peas not photographed as he doesn't eat them, so more for me!). It all travelled really well back to our campsite outside Aberdyfi. The puddings were amazing too and I'll be dreaming of that coconut panacotta for a long time. Thanks so much! Will definitely visit again when we're back this way!

If I could give more stars, I would!Salt Marsh Kitchen is a phenomenal establishment effortlessly delivering a variety of delicious, creative - yet familiar - dishes which focuses on fresh produce and is, of course, inspired by the sea.The restaurant itself is quaint and cosy (make sure you book ahead in the busy holiday season), accompanied by attentive yet relaxed service.As for the food - what a delight. From flavourful starters, such as Pork Belly Bao Buns, to hearty Bass Panzanella and the unmissable Coconut Panna Cotta - every mouthful at Salt Marsh Kitchen is a flavour sensation.Drinks are also quite tasty too, with a fabulous selection of Welsh gins plus an extensive wine menu available.Overall, Salt Marsh Kitchen must not be missed if you're visiting Tywyn. We absolutely love it here and can't wait to return again, and again, and again!
