This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed with my food. I love a good curry and because I’ve not enjoyed there curries before I tend to go to pontypool and go to the Parbin instead. However, I ordered a curry tonight from there hoping it had improved and cause it’s convenient! but I was wrong what a waste of money! I ordered a chicken tikka pathia curry got home placed it on my plate to notice lots of lemon peel. Ive eaten a few pathias in my time and never had lemon in it. It suppose to be a hot sweet curry. I rang to say i think they’ve given me the wrong curry as it didn’t taste like your typical pathia. The person I spoke to wasn’t willing to make this right or willing to listen and placed phone down. How rude. I suggest people should travel to the next town to get a curry. For one you get more value for your money as potions are small at the Dill and the Dill is much more expensive than other Indians I eat at. Never will I set foot in there again.

We had a table for 3 in the window corner. Nice quality food, very quick, friendly service and all in all a very pleasant evening - thank you!

Wife and I ate our evening meal here whilst staying in the area. The service was fab and the food even better. I cannot express how tasty the Maharajah Bhuna was and the rice was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife had the Chicken Makhani and was equally pleased with her food. The place was quite busy for sit in and very busy on take away orders and I'm not surprised. Will definitely return if in area

Food good, service a bit slow as only one waiter on but he was excellent. A little pricey for the location

Disappointed. Food was OK for saying we literally stopped in and needed something to eat. But note that there is a mandatory 10% surcharge (hidden on the menu). Was charge £9~ for a Coke and J2O (absolutely ridiculous). Unfortunately we won't be coming again. I genuinely feel the prices are higher to take advantage of the older people that live in the area.
Nice food but awful dessert. I thought a banana split for dessert would be nice to finish the meal. It was just a banana and cheap tasteless vanilla ice cream. So so bland. I told the waiter and he never said anything. I said some chocolate sauce or squirty cream would be nice. He was not happy later when I asked the service charge to be removed. Shame as the rest of the meal was good. Why can’t restaurants do the basics well ???

We regularly order take away meals from The Dil and have found them to be consistently delicious and rate them as among the best we've tasted

Arrived late into town and it was this or a pasty from the shop. Luckily they were still serving and we had a tasty curry and a couple of beers
