Twice I've been into this shop recently and on both occasions the lady serving has been very unpleasant, as unhelpful as possible and even downright rude. I went back to give her benefit of doubt in case she had a bad day, but no, not bad day bad personality. Items purchased were lovely

Can’t fault the food, just wish the staff were more

Lovely selection of cakes and fresh sandwiches. I had chicken mayonnaise and bread pudding and coffee. Delicious. Friendly staff member said I had not ordered a drink for the meal deal. Very helpful. Will visit again soon!

Since I last reported the Usk Parsons has improved, they now have Cherry are Raisin Danish pastries. However, they no longer offer 4 for the price of 3, thus they have lost some of my business.

I didn’t feel welcome, poor customer service as my good friend asked her about a food item, didn’t explain about their food really well and gave attitude to her. The one lady is really kind and welcoming. However, the other lady that was there wasn’t really helpful, with what items were available. She was also rude and abrupt. First time coming here and the last time too. I don’t expect being spoken too like this when visiting a bakery to pick up some breakfast. ?

Perfect pit stop. 2 veggie sausage rolls for £2, and a novelty biscuit. Great stop if you’re traveling through.hakuna matata

Woman's attitude behind the counter today was awful . Didn't bother staying to buy anything after her "greeting ".

Rude staff. Not constant size of baguette. My husband stopped by in this bakery a week before and was raving how lovely it was, how nice the guy who serving him was, how tasty the bread was. So he insisted we ho together on our day off and he'll treat me to something from there. Well... For the start off, we were not to allowed to go in there together (we live together for goodness sake), so not much of choosing something nice together. Then when asked for a batton (baguette) it was much shorter than one my husband brought back a week before. When asked, the girl who was serving us was ademant that it was full length, not half. Was rude about it. Bread was in a plastic bag, sweating and not in a paper one as before. Staff like that can lose you customers in one sale. Will not be coming back.Update.Stopped for coffee and croissant this morning. Would not open for an hour after their stated opening hours. Even though sales person was inside the bakery. Also, forget croissants ? not a sign of continental baking here... Cupcakes, Chelsea buns, custard slices... Too sweet British cakes ?

On a couple of occasions the lady serving has been quite rude. It would be nice to greet customers with a smile!

After a December lunch meal in a nearby pub I stop in here for their lovely Christmas pudding truffles.

My wife and I went to the bakery for their meal deal. 1 other person was in there, so I walked in only for the rude person behind the counter to snap and say only 1 household at a time. The poster was on the opposite side of the door, so I hadn't seen it. It's an okay bakery with a good meal deal, but the staff make it almost unbearable. If you go, expect some bad attitude
