Love this pub especially Daisy and Grace. The young man in the hot pants is obviously trying to over compensate for something with the size of his quiff.. would visit again.

One delightful evening I decided to have a nice little walk up to the golden lion the pub was good .respectable and great people where everybody knows you're name and there's always glad you're came .you wanna be where everybody knows you're name. Totally recommended. Great selection of nuts .

Best pub in Coedpoeth, nice staff good atmosphere. Nice out door area with plenty of seating. Cosey traditional pub inside, lots of cask ales at very reasonable prices. Not doing food anymore new function room and dog friendly, what more could you want. Oh yes live bands too ?????
