My wife and 16 month old had a little holiday here recently which was fantastic. It was put of season so the site was really quiet other than people stopping in the lodges. There’s a little shopping village on site which even had a barbers and a beauty parlour. There’s a heated indoor swimming pool which we had all to ourselves one afternoon which our little one loved. The site is absolutely immaculate and all the staff are really nice and helpful. We ate out one night at the golf club and which was decent enough and well priced. The hot tubs are great, the lodges are well spaced out with lots of space between so plenty of privacy, we requested a lodge in the corner close to the field so my daughter could see the animals in the field which was nice. I would definitely return but next time would choose to stay in a safari tent as the lodges were a little bit on the small size for us and the little one.

Having stayed in the luxury lodges for 2 consecutive weeks for business, I can confirm it's a welcome break from staying in a hotel room. The lodges are very well maintained, clean with beautiful views onto countryside. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help and answer questions. The park itself seemed very quiet during my stays.

Beautiful well kept site. Staff are friendly and informative. Everywhere is kept very clean and tidy. The Stables coffee shop is excellent also the Hay Bank clubhouse for food/drink is worth a visit. Very friendly atmosphere.Having a swimming pool is a bonus. It has an adults only time for an hour every day. There is a nine hole golf course.Would certainly recommend a vist for weekend or longer.

9 Holes golf. The course is decent, very hilly which was fine for me but friend struggled a little. Decided to order breakfast after which let it down for me. I was under a bit of a time limit as needed to get back for the kids and probably my mistake I should of asked for a lead time but it didn't look too busy. Anyway about 40 minutes later and breakfast still not arrived I had to leave without it. My friend had extra and took some for his dogs.I don't like to be negative but felt that was slow for a breakfast order. Food looked good but I didn't have any, just be aware of lead times if ordering.

I was in my motor home and it provides a lovely quiet rural setting with golf course.

This is a 5star camp facility, we have only scratched the surface & already purchased a caravan here, looking forward to exploring the whole site, have not graded the service but from what we have experienced today, site is pristine, manicured lawns & flower areas staff friendly, had a late lunch, which was very good!! Service was excellent, can't wait to have memorable times here, & am sure the site staff will have a large input to that

A lovely site well managed with great fully serviced pitches. Spacious areas and great golf course for those who desire it.There are a range of shops and two eateries.Access good for travelling with caravans and motorhomes also a range of accommodation to rent too.

Nice campsite, but they discriminate against large families. We've stayed here 3 times before,(2 adults 5 kids) but now they say they have a restriction of 5 people per pitch. Not come across a limit of 5 in all our time camping, and it wasn't a problem previously, but apparently is now.

Really disappointed. We are a family of two widowed parents, with a blended family of 5 bereaved children; two of which also have disabilities. We have a 7 berth motorhome that comfortably sleeps all 7 of us. We have stayed at The Plassey four times in the past, with no issue and we have always explained on booking that there are 7 of us.We have just tried to book to meet up with friends and have been told that our booking will not be accepted. This is a place we have created many happy memories over the years and now I need to tell my children they can't go because there are too many of us.

Avoid if you have a tent, we booked and paid for one night we are complete amateurs and have never camped before, we bought a tent and booked to stay to give it a try, The tent we had was a normal 6 man tent. When we got there we where given a site in the main field, we did get the information through and didnt think much of the information t6hat you can camp here if you have a caravan or a tent. If you have a tent you cannot camp there! you need to pitch your tent on hard concrete / gravel that no normal tent peg would work on. We asked for help but you are not allow to put your tent on the grass? (thats right you cannot put your tent on the pitch you pay for on the grass in the pitch)? This was a complete joke, we did get a refund but will never go near the place again. We found a "normal" campsite about 4 miles away awesome called James Camping park, Where unbelievably you can pitch a tent on the grass. On a side note they say you need ROCK PEGs, which you can buy but are massively overpriced and also don't work in the ground. without a 9lbs sledge hammer. Aviod unless you are in a caravan.

Nice family camp site.Static vans, some permanent large caravans, and 3 different fields for tourers.Well kept 9 hole golf course, driving range and a small pitch and put.Staff all excellent.Washing facilities spotless, but only 3 showers in our block, so some waiting.Small shopping area with lovely cafe.Golf clubhouse for evening hot food.We did not use the swimming pool, but looked like it was enjoyed by families.Small children riding round on scooters and bikes, but did not cause a nuisance.

Had a great 4 nights with the family lodges were lovely and the village is lovely. Good facilities on site. Restaurant (clubhouse) gets very busy we didn’t get to eat in as no table’s available so we had to go out or order in. Overall we had a lovely time.

What a fantastic find! We stayed for a week at Plassey and we loved every minute. The lodge certainly had the wow factor, with luxury feel and the spacious outdoor area with hot tub a touch of luxury in a tranquil, outdoor setting, just perfect for rest and relaxation. Small touches made the stay even better, everything had been thought of such as a cosy dog bed with a treat that our puppy loved. The grounds were immaculate and a credit to the staff, who work tirelessly to keep everything looking so lovely. Lots for all to do, the kids were happy with the swimming pool and table tennis, but nature walks and golf experiences were an added bonus. The golf club was lovely and when the sun came out, it even felt like being abroad! We found the food was tasty and quite reasonably priced, they even welcomed dogs, so we were able to relax with our new puppy always with us. Even the bingo was fun and exciting, with chances for all to win. The adventure park was great and the little shops were quaint with the best ice cream I have tasted for a long time. They even had an amazing olde world sweet collection which the kids really enjoyed. The craft shop is a brilliant idea, my daughter and I bought a pencil box for £3 and enjoy a good hour and a half together lovingly painting it in the sunshine, best £3 I have spent! The staff team need a special mention, they were so friendly and lovely from the time we arrived to the time we left we were made to feel welcome and as if nothing was too much trouble. Taking time to chat and offer local tips and places to visit. Honestly, Plassey is the best place we have stayed for a long time and we will undoubtedly be back again. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable!

Solo grandparent with x3 grandchildren in a safari tent. It was perfect, my middle grandchild was so excited to sleep in the cabin bed, my youngest grandchild took the giraffe from his room everywhere. This was such a lovely touch for a younger child. Hot tub was heaven and the staff were so attentive, helpful and immediately sorted a small issue when it cooled down a little too much. My only issue being my excited, loud, very happy grandchildren in a very quiet area ! Apologies to other campers! They just loved it. We went to the pool daily and again a great experience, the staff at Plassey were wonderful, it made life so much more straightforward for me, alone with x3 children. We went to the restaurant and sat outside, again brill, middle grandchild is neurodivergent and this worked well for him. The nature trail leaflet helped us pass a glorious couple of hours and sweet shop treats were a big hit! I was so anxious it was going to be a washout, with the rain, but we were lucky, it was a great short break, thank you to all the staff across the whole site it was wonderful. I hope Gerald the giraffe is now fully rested as we will be back soon to drag him out and about again! He didn't get a moments rest. I am now trying to find a new Gerald for my grandson as he is missing him a lot! ?
