I stayed in many places and didn't like this hotel at all. The hotel is located next to the train station. I normally don't wake up in the night but the night I stayed at premier inn I was up every 20mins, because of the list and the trains passing by. The breakfast was poor ,service average,in the evening there was an hour wait although the restaurant wasn't busy.

Stayed on Friday 8th March. Reception excellent, room to usual high standard. Met 4 colleagues for dinner The food (starters and mains) were very good. The service and attention given by the two young ladies Becca and Gracie, was exceptional, please pass on my thanks.Food & drinks: Chicken Gougon starters, followed by Fish, chips and garden peas……all freshly cooked….delicious.

Just outside the town centre and close to the Racecourse ground, both within walking distance. Hotel was clean and tidy, best part was the breakfast, good choice.and tasty.Just be careful of the parking, you do have to pay and it has reg recognition which the machine doesn't always pick up. Not the easiest parking system to use and ended up with 2 fines that were successfully appealed 4 months later after staying there.

A group of 7 of us with 3 rooms stayed at this hotel on Sat 17/2.After drinks in the bar we went into Wrexham to eat as the menu did not suit 2 of our children who have autism and eating disorders. We returned at 8.15pm soaking wet & were rudely asked by a member of staff (Nicky) what we wanted. We said we were guests at the hotel and asked for a table for 7 of us for drinks but were TOLD in no uncertain terms that we couldn't have a table as the restaurant was fully booked. We pointed to 6 empty tables but were told that these were booked for food by other guests. We asked if we could sit at the empty breakfast bar table which had 8 chairs but were TOLD that we couldn't. The lady who spoke to us was very abrupt, condescending and rude in front of other guests. She rolled her eyes at us like we were school children & repeated that we couldn't sit down in the bar. So with our tails between our legs we all went back to our own rooms with no drinks & missed out on a planned social evening.Just b4 9pm I went back to the bar to get myself a drink . All of those tables that were supposedly reserved for food were still empty! It was clear that Nicky, so some inexplicable reason, had lied to us! I bought a cider from another member of staff & took it to my room.In the morning another guest in reception told us that she had been in the restaurant & saw what had happened to us the night b4. She said that no other guests had come into the restaurant to eat after we were told to leave. In fact other guests after us were also refused a table for drinks! She said that the member of staff who refused us a table was called Nicky and she was the hotel manager!!So we then spoke to Leah on reception & explained what had happened to us. She was lovely, very apologetic and said that the bar is open till 10.30pm. She couldn't understand why we were refused a table. We asked if she could report this to a senior manager for us. She took our phone numbers & said we would receive a call. (not received yet) The way we were treated totally spoiled our weekend & it was not necessary. We use Premiere Inns a lot & have never been treated like this b4. Not happy at all and very disappointed! And the hotel missed out on approx' £80 worth of drinks that we would have bought!

A hotel without WiFi in the 21st century, an absolute disgrace. Paid £15 for WiFi and it lasted about 20 minutes. All these hotels use phone signal blockers as well, to force you to pay for WiFi, that doesn't work. Avoid, stay elsewhere.

Great location right by railway station and football ground. Rooms clean and tidy and great value , advise getting a meal deal well worth it ,only downsde was a 330ml bottle of lager was £4.20 and nothing on draught only bottles. And nearly forgot you have to pay to parkRooms: Good largeroom with bath and shower ensuiteFood & drinks: Bottled drinks only and expensiveNoteworthy details: Next to railway station and football ground

abysmal even for premier inn. the room smelled like something too crude to write in a review. the staff were just as miserable as i was about being there.they removed my wife’s review, dishonest and shady.

Heating did not work in my room for 2 nights. There is no window to open. Its just a piece of glass so cant open to air the room. Food in the evening is hit or miss. My room came with the 2 course meal, i wudnt have paid to eat there if food wasnt included in room price. For breakfast they can not provide you with a take away cup or a disposable container so you have to sit and eat. I didnt have time most of my days to have the breakfast due to having to leave early for work so takeaway breakfast would have been useful. Staff are really friendly and do their best to help.

Lovely staff kept very clean and the rooms are extremely comfortable.Shame there’s no fruit left over after a big group had been in for breakfast and food to take a long time the night beforeRooms: Clean large and the bed was very comfortableWalkability: Just buy the football stadium

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the racecourse and 15 minutes into the center of town. Room is fairly comfortable.

I’ll not be coming back!Stopped here for work but thought I’d go and watch a football game while I was here. After not finding a restaurant in the town I wanted to eat in I came back to eat at the hotel to be told they were fully booked until 7pm. There were only 1/3 of the tables occupied maybe 12-14 people sat down. This apparently is because the new ovens cannot cook enough food fast enough. Surly a hotel restaurant should be able to cater for more than 1/3 of the capacity. In over 4 years of traveling for work I’ve never come across this, it’s pathetic.Rooms average premier inn nothing special, I fact I had to look twice to see if there was a pillow on my bed they were so flat.Wi-Fi terrible may as well not have it.I’ll not be coming back
