Worse chips I have had sausage in batter was so hard couldn't bite it never go there again

worst chip shop in the area ! beach tree was closed and everytime i come this place the attitude of the staff and atmosphere is just hideous…. walk in and the que is a decent size and we end up standing there for 15 mins whilst no one is getting served. end up walking out i advise nobody to waste your time here hopefully will close down soon and be replaced with somthing better ! go to beach tree !

Unless you want to wait between 2-3 hours for delivery, do not bother ordering food for delivery. I have ordered a few times via Uber Eats, and each time has gotten worse.This time was the worst, having ordered at 5:20 and was given an estimated time of 6pm. The food did not arrive until after 8pm. I had called earlier to ask where my food was and I was told immediately "it's on it's way", before then being told it's the next order to be delivered when the driver gets back and it will take 30 minutes. It took another 75 minutes after that. I called again and the lady on the phone immediately commented with "it's on the way" again. It's obvious this is their default to answer to calls even if it's not the truth. She also ignored me when I was asking about my previous call, then put the phone down to talk to someone else whilst I was still on the phone trying to speak to her.The food itself is ok, nothing great, but nothing awful.But I repeat - Do not bother trying to order delivery, you will be wasting hours waiting with no communication other than "it's on it's way" when it hasn't even left the shop.

Ordered on Uber eats, an hour passes so I call up and they tell me delivery will be ANOTHER hour at least! 3 hours pass, they would not answer calls from me or the Uber support team and my food wasn’t delivered. Absolutely appalling ?

I will not be going to that chip shop again the food is not good enough the wait takes ages when they are not busy I’ve been sick once already and I only got food from there 40 minutes ago and they just stand there when people are waiting to be served they are just talking and laughing it’s not good enough it looks bad on you I will be going to the beach tree from now on I will never go back to that chip shop again even if they short there business out so it’s a no from meParking: Not good enoughWheelchair accessibility: They don’t even have a ramp to go up the step

Wow what a shambles! Having previously enjoyed the food from here, me and my partner decided we’d order a delivery. This was a mistake. Ordered food at 6:20pm and immediately it was delayed to be delivered at latest 7:55pm (bearing in mind it’s a Monday and I live approximately less than 10 mins from the place). When 7:55pm came and went, we rang up and a woman answered the phone. She was so rude and abrupt, when I said the food had taken an hour and 40 minutes to be delivered she rudely replied “it’s actually been an hour and 20”. When the food was finally delivered at 8:15pm, the delivery woman explained that no delivery driver had turned up. This isn’t really good enough when you’re still open to delivering on Just Eat. Don’t get me started on the food. It was freezing cold and sloppy. I also asked for a Tango cherry and they gave me a Pepsi max. I hate to criticise someone’s business but really not worth the money.

I walk back and forth between college and the fish shop, and trust me its worth the walk, the chips and sausage in batter were bang on! Really filling, also does student discounts on Tuesdays.Kid-friendliness: Student discounts on Tuesdays only

Food was ok but I ordered the chicken zinger with cheese and chips and I was expecting a chicken zinger cheese burger and chips so fair to say I was disappointed when I received cheese on chips with chopped up chicken zinger. Read the menu properly next time
