Just popped into the fish chip saloon, always a smile when you walk in .I went to pay, and I thought I had forgotten my money , and I was told to pop in next time and pay . They trusted me to come back , so kind, and I couldn't believe they trusted me . Good old-fashioned service, which is lacking in most places now !!!!!!!!!?

Fish and chips below par, fish has this batter that just holds the oil from the fryer, chips are under cooked and tasteless, beans are watered down just bland. Not the 1st time food has been this bad ! Such a shame staff are so nice and it’s always busy but there are better fish and chips around. Fish and chips and scampi and chips £17.00 not good value for standard of food. Would pay this for quality food.

Amazing staff who know me well, good food, mainly go there for these amazing wedges they do for just 50p and they are the best thing I've ever eaten tbh with ya

The food is great but the old woman with the white hair who serves is so grumpy all the time, shouts at people and treats it like it’s a school canteen and wants to just throw you out the moment you walk in. Her and her attitude has put me off ever going back and I only live in the next street but I’ll go further to get better service and not get shouted at because she got my order wrong.
