Scary pub with no music, I fear I will be cursed for this review, felt as welcome as a Rwandan

A pathetic and ruthless lady behaviour at the bar. It was dark and I was waiting outside for the bus on a really windy day. I went inside to ask I don’t want to order anything because I don’t drink and I don’t drink soft drink either and pleased her if I could wait for 20 mins only. She denied me by saying you can’t wait here, it’s not waiting area it’s a bar. Where the heck did her hospitality went?? The place gets famous for helping people out irrespective of anything.I’m a bar manager myself, and worked at bull head before. I have come after circumstances like these, sometimes people really want to use the loo or wait inside because it’s raining, never denied anyone because it’s the rule of helping people and serving in any way in hospitality industry.

Having recently moved to Bidford-on-Avon I was very happy to find The Bulls Hesd a real pub . I was made to feel welcome by everyone there .A gastro pub it is not (thank goodness) it is a very friendly pub a proper old school boozer. Having spent most of my working life in the licensed trade it so nice to find a somewhere like this on my doorstep. I recommend the Sunday roast the best value for money I have found in the area

A very authentic village pub. Not pretentious, not pretending to be a gastropub. Cracking pub fare at a very reasonable price.

Nice locals pub but no food or real ale on a Saturday lunchtime

Nice traditional style pub on the riverside. We didn't eat so I have ignored that question. Reasonable choice of beers and ciders and reasonably priced.Lost one star as the lager glass I was given with my drink in had lipstick all around the rim. Can't beat proper hand washing for glasses, the machines are useless.

Tried to visit @ 22:15 on a Friday night having seen the business confirmed being open until midnight not 3 weeks earlier. Closed!! Not worth a visit if can't keep advertised hours; at least be honest.

It was totally empty but it was Monday lunchtime and we'd been for a dress fitting. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. We only had soup with chunky bread and butter, but it was nice to see proper bread and butter. We also had some chips to share but didn't manage to finish them. I would definitely go back for a full meal.
