I had eaten here a few times before and the food was good, however last time, I had to chase our orders and the manager came over and started shouting at me and insisted I told him whether he should sack his chef. Really unprofessional. However, last night, I thought we would go back. We arrived and were shown to a table. We ordered drinks and the same manager came over and said "Im not sure when you will get your food!" We asked what he meant. He said (in a very obnoxious and confrontational tone) We are very busy, what do you want me to do? Go and kick the chef?" He started shouting and I simply asked if he could give me a rough idea of how long food would be. He got more angry and was shouting to the point where other diners were looking over. I tried to reason with him and said that we would wait but if he could ask the chef just to give us an idea, that would be great. His tone got even louder and he snatched our menus back from us. He said "You better leave" and then started on me, bringing up how I complained last time which was over 6 months ago. We were embarrased, astounded and felt so awkward. He ushered us out of the restaurant with everybody watching. We then went to Paprika Club and explained we were in a huge rush. Whilst I am a regular there, the restaurant was packed and they ensured we had a wonderful meal within 20 minutes. Been, you are an awful place and your manager is a joke. We will never return and I would urge others to steer WELL CLEAR!

We have eaten at the restaurant a few times now and are really impressed. Be sure to ask the server for the authentic Chinese menu rather than all you can eat. Very good value for money too.

Food was tasty and really friendly service. Good selection of starters and main to chose from and portion sizes are small so get to try a lot

Had the salt and pepper ribs and they came deep fat fried ? never had it like that before and I don't ever want to again. I had crispy chilli beef, pretty sure it was just burnt batter no beef inside. The rice was bland loads of spring onion and hardly any egg. Just all round nasty! Save your money

I went here on Saturday lunchtime with my dad, his wife and my sister to celebrate my dad's birthday. The place was quiet, but then it was lunchtime on a very warm Saturday so not unexpected. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and spent some time recommending some of his favourite dishes. We all started with dim sum, which I'd never tried before. We all enjoyed it, my sister is vegetarian and said hers was lovely as well.We all tried different mains, I had one of the owner's recommendations. Everyone agreed their meal was really good. Generous portions, lots of flavour, and plenty of fresh vegetables. The owner was very attentive and checked we were happy, but was not intrusive. He was very amused at my blind dad's attempts to chase his dim sum around his plate, as we all were. The bill was a pleasant surprise as well. We were all full, there was rice left over (and we only had two portions for four people), yet the bill for two courses and drinks was under £20 a head.We had a lovely time, and will definitely go back for more of their lovely food.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options.

Was searching for a Chinese online and this one came up, we were a bit hesitant on arrival as the outside looked a bit old and dated Once inside we noticed every table except ours was full and the takeaways didn't stop the whole time we were in there Every item of food we had was cooked fresh and was piping hot We went for the all you can eat and was definitely worth the money, portion sizes were plentiful and seasoned just right, I'm quite fussy and I couldn't fault anything The staff very friendly and helpful but didn't pounce on you as soon as you finished and were not in your face like some places, nothing was too much trouble Was a lovely meal and will definitely be returning

Lovley welcoming super friendly staff. They offer an all you can eat menu and a full menu. The all you can eat looked great value for money however we enjoy more authentic food so we ordered off the menu. The salted egg yolk king prawns was new to us and was interesting and tasty. We were massively disappointed with the dimsum selection, they were all bought in frozen and tasted below par. We paid extra as a treat to have fillet steak in black pepper sauce but it was unbelievably chewy. The waiter said that's how it comes! Fillet should melt in your mouth? -but he removed it from the bill no hassel. I stated I was allergic to sweet corn but it was in the Yung chow fried rice, also not a good move. Very dangerous with stated allergies. By the time we got a replacement we had eaten our food. No refund given for that sadly. The draft Sun Lik beer is tasty and recommended. Atmosphere is clean also welcoming but the toilets are cold and need updating. Overall not the best experience, but we have been before and enjoyed it. Don't know if we will visit again sadly.

We ordered from the main menu (not all-you-can-eat buffet) and had lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg friend rice, crispy chilli beef - and banana fritters for pudding. It was all absolutely delicious. The flavours and quality of the food was amazing. We were so happy and so impressed!! We will 100% be back. Great value for money as well and the service was great, the lady that served us was lovely and helpful. Very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend Been!

Order a takeaway and was awful. Starters all over cooked or reheated in old oil, some unedible. Sauce that came with it was watered down. Duck was tasteless with stodgy and probably both reheated. Refused a refund and won't be using again
