Pubs in Leamington Spa
“We had a work meal/quiz at the Windmill and the team were so helpful on the run up to the evening and on the day. Food was timely and super tasty, we can't thank Michelle and her team enough for all they did :)”
“Everyone and their fat uncle are convinced that they know "the best Irish pub in the world" - confidently telling their mates that the Guinness is better, the craic flows faster, and the barman knows the name of every patron in the place. At Murphy's, that's actually true. It feels more like you've stumbled into the living room of your long-lost quarter-Irish cousins than walked into a pub - and what a delightful feeling that is. Karaoke night is, for want of a better word, feral. Free "cocktails" for anyone who sings, cheers for the ones who give it their all, heckles for anyone who takes it too seriously (you know who you are, and you're not welcome here).I haven't had a hangover like this since grade school. 10/10.”
“Even going early the place felt alive. Nice music to wake your drowsy morning feeling off. Bartenders are chilled out, helpful and very friendly. The food was fairly priced and tasted pretty good. My sandwichs bacon was over salted but aside from that it was very good.”
“My first UK Pub, what a treat. A few NA beers along with plenty of local and National beers ”
“Always a delight to come here. Only thing I would change would be the atmosphere - it often seems very corporate and cold which is contrasting to its warm and welcoming structure and staff. Please sort the lighting and music out guys!”
“Wonderfully unique little pub in a quaint area of Leamington Spa. Beautifully decorated and spotless inside. Owners are absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere is both simultaneously lively and relaxed.”
“What a lovely pub this is, beer was reasonably priced a proper open fire while I watched the rugby on the big screen.”
“This is a sports pub plane and simple. Reasonable selection of craft ales, including some Purity beers from just down the road in Alcester. The food is ok, but the main reason I've visited this place is to watch the sports. They always have the decent games on. And whilst it is really NOTHING fancy....good place to have a beer and watch the footy.”
“Incredible Roast Dinner. Have had several and they are a cut above anywhere else's. Well done to Matt and his team!”
“Honestly, was blown away by this place. Bit on the pricey side, you absolutely get what you pay fot though.Incredible food, great service, really interesting decor that although comic book themed, isn't in your face.Service was excellent, beyond helpful, friendly and welcoming, only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because a service charge is mandatory. It was that good I was going to leave a tip anyway, it being forced on you isn't great though.”
