What has happened to Yo Sushi? It's been about a year since I last went and it's not the same experience anymore. Firstly we were kicked out at 9:00pm on a Saturday night- had I known they were shutting so early I would have gone somewhere else or planned our evening differently. As a result the atmosphere at 8:00pm was dire - appart from a constant stream of Just Eat drivers we were the only two in there. I had planned to spend a relaxed couple of hours eating but after 45 minutes we were told to pay up & leave. Just as well- since there was nothing going round the conveyor belt by then!!My next issue is the food ordering system- call me old fashioned but I'd rather not use QR codes and phones to order food. I feel like I'm doing someone out of job and I also miss pressing the table button for the amusing sound effects! The new 'service' system is seriously lacking especially if you don't have a phone.Food quality was acceptable- but again I'm sure something has changed here since my last visit. There seems less on the menu and more 'lower standard' items? I was also dissapointed that Saporo beer was no longer available.....In conclusion - we are not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

Number one, am a great lover of Sushi, I follow Sushi Videos on YT addictively, and have visited many Sushi restaurants across the world, and a few Yo Sushi restaurants in the UK. This on this occasion was the poorest. We visited this branch as in town to visit relatives, and my Wife had a voucher which we could use at Yo Sushi. The service initially was good, fairly attentive and as we knew how to order and hungry, we got on with meal. Very little choice was evident on the Conveyor. The Restaurant was quiet for a Sunday afternoon and maybe reflected by a Christmas Fair in the streets surrounding, but at one point, the only availble dishes (All Grey Dishes, so most expensive), and this at one point consisted of about six dishes on Conveyor. We therefore ordered two bowls of Katsu Curry. My Wife's Regular Chicken Bowl was good. My large Prawn Bowl was beautiful and freshly cooked. But.....that was it. Their was no other bowls availble on Conveyor and trying to catch Waitress eye to order was nigh impossible. We wanted to spend more money but despite money in our pockets to burn, we could not spend. We observed the Waitress take 10 minutes to clean one table, partially because she spent most of time, talking to Chefs and wiping same patch over and over again. A table of three next to the highly cleaned table, were waiting to give orders, and we then decided to cut short our visit. My Wife had to get up, walk around Restaurant and follow Waitress to ask her to provide bill as we still could not get her to our side of Restaurant. To top off this afternoon. The Voucher my Wife had received on leaving a place of work, could not be redeemed. This was not Yo Sushi's fault, but just about topped afternoon visit off for us. I would go back to Yo Sushi again, but not this branch in Royal Leamington Spa. Really, really poor, except for a good bowl of Katsu.

Today was the first time that I visited this place and actually left. Usually, this place is 5 stars. The service was terrible, and I did not even stay to eat.

Always reliable. Menu seems to have simplified over the years but still great, fresh food ?

My son specifically requested to go to the sushi place for his 7th birthday treat. We went straight after school so early evening and the restaurant was empty apart from us and the staff. The conveyor belt was very empty, and we were informed that the staff were in the process of restocking but this didn't happen until nearer the end of the meal, so I kept having to request items, which although sounds like not a hardship, my son really really likes picking items from the conveyor belt as it helps him keep control over his situation (as an ASD/PDA child this is crucial to any outing).Despite being very quiet the service was slow when we had to request things, a number of times it took a good five minutes to even get someone's attention as they were either out of the room, working on a laptop or just not looking in our direction, and at one point we received only half an app order (I resorted to this as it was easier), and I had to chase up on it, to be told the order hadn't come through (yet we received half of it?).That said the food was very nice and overall my son did like it, but the lack of choice did dysregulate him which was a shame.

Awful plastic place, the staff were confused with the ordering apps. Food took 3hrs to come! Place was pretty empty , the food being made for takeaway was obviously more important than actual customers in the restaurant. I'm never going again. Terrible experience

The taste is very good. It's good that they have some plant-based/vegan options, but more vegan options are required. The most obvious fact is that they are very overpriced given the portion sizes.

Lost one of our orders for sushi. Customer service was average. Thought we were overcharged but server didn't provide receipt. Calculated afterwards that server had added their own tip on

What happened to Yo Sushi? This was one of my favourite places, now it seems to have gone downhill. Even the take out seems lacklustre. I couldn’t believe my eyes! The portion sizes seems to have shrunk while the prices rose. I know the economy isn’t doing so well but come on Yo Sushi, do better!

The food is really good. Staff is friendly and provides good service.Mobile signal is bad inside the restaurant and there is no WiFi so accessing the menu and ordering from phone is difficult and at times impossible. Some dishes are not available majority of the time so ask the staff what will be/not be available before ordering to avoid disappointment. This restaurant tilts towards luxury so is pricey.

Menu has changed so progressively over the years- i can no longer visit. no tamago, no prawn tempura- is there any of the original menu on here at all any more. a soulless expensive restaurant.

We came to the restaurant as a family, and enjoyed the fresh food and good selection. Some of the younger staff members could do with being a little more enthusiastic/personable, but we had very good service and interaction from the manager. Will definitely return.
