I've been visiting this Chinese for years. Used to be my local until I moved but when I get the opportunity I still come back here - it really is excellent food at a great price.

Food is pretty good, service always good, just wish they would work on the waiting area and outside look it hasn't changed for 30 years that I can remember. I know the kitchen is the most important area but a revamp is so over due. First impressions are very important these days.

Firstly after driving out here they only take cash, NO CARDS! Luckily I had enough change in the ashtray of the car otherwise I'd have left empty handed. Secondly, the food at best is bland. I had chicken and mushroom curry and it had next to zero spice. If I'd have been blindfolded I couldn't have told you what I was eating. Pretty sure that's their first and last chance.

Ordered duck in plum sauce. Terrible. Duck was dry on top of a whole carton of onions. House spring roll was just bean sprouts.A lot of cash for nothing.Never again.

Went here for the first time on Thursday. Absolutely delicious food. Clean, tidy, courteous and patient staff and suitably speedy food prep. Not too quick and not slow. Will definitely be coming back often.Clear indications of typical allergens in food is not something that concerns me or my family, but its present on the menus which is a plus.Parking: Brinklow is a small village and parking is street based, first come first served.I'd advise parking at the wider end of the street away from the junction. Its less tight, easier to get in and out and less likely to get your car dinged. There are also a lot of driveways on the street so be courteous to the residents when parking - don't block the driveways no matter how 'quick' you'll be.
This place can be really busy, the phone rings off the hook on prime evening's, however the staff are always very polite and efficient. The food is worth the wait.It is cash only, which is the only downside as it is difficult to obtain cash in a rural location.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.
