“Overall the ambience was good and the food was with quality. The variety of offerings are very wide and was extended to Asian and Mexican. They were surprisingly good too. Portion was appropriate. The only thing is the sofa was a bit too soft and we had to swop, otherwise, rest of settings are comfy and spacious.

“We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Cafe Vin Cinq last night. The food was delicious as always especially the desserts. I don’t usually have dessert but couldn’t resist from the options that there was. Atmosphere is always lovely here, calm and relaxed but always feels a bit special. I’m especially in love with their Turkish breakfast – it’s fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. It’s something you don’t find often in Rugby, and they absolutely nail it. My missus swears by their Eggs Benedict with bacon – a rare and welcome twist, since most places only serve it with ham. The fact that they offer this option shows they really listen to what customers want.

What makes Clifton Cafe even more special are the owners. They’re always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you. They go out of their way to look after you and make sure you’re comfortable. It's clear they care deeply about both the food and the people who walk through their door.

“A small, quiet, friendly cafe, serving lighter meals, pastries and cakes.

The coffee is superior to that of the big chains and the service is always efficient and very friendly. For brunch, Croque Monsieur is my go-to, with a black americano.

There are a few outside tables to cater for those with a nicotine habit. The toilets are upstairs, so bear that in mind if anyone in your party might struggle to climb them.”
