“We visited the restaurant for the first time, and as soon as we settled down, we could just tell that we were going to have a wonderful time. We were greeted by Anna, who btw is awesome, and made us feel so welcome. The restaurant hit every single note faultlessly. The ambience is lovely, The food was sublime. I won't give a critique of every dish...but I have to mention mussels. I've had moules mariniere countless times in Belgium...but never as good as here. Mussels large, plump, and soft as pillows, cooked with clotted cream, chorizo, vine tomatoes and and a julienne of vegetables. Awesome. You can have them either as a starter or as a main. This is the kind of restaurant that hits the sweet spot. Fine dining, with attentive staff, and without pretence. We cannot wait to return. ?”

“Atmosphere and food were great. Only issue was my soft drink took ages to be served. Finally got it after my food had been served.”

“Found somewhere to park straight away. Queued but not for too long (went down quick). Great selection of food available in fridges, etc. We had bacon rolls, chocolate brownie, croissant, Choc orange hot choc, water with ice and a bottle of sprite. We have real issues getting bacon rolls in a competitor of theirs across the road so can usually rely on this Costa or the one in Next to have them thankfully as that’s pretty much all my kids eat. The staff they had on for this visit were really helpful and friendly. The lady doing my drink spilt the smallest drop of hot choc ever by accident and instantly offered to do it again. No need though so I said it was fine. She then gave me more choc orange segments in appreciation of me not being bothered about the tiny weeny spillage; she was clearly more bothered about it than I was bless her. Hot food was done quickly and they bought over to us at the table rather than us standing about waiting. There were limited table options for more than 2 people due to single people using 4 person tables, but we did find one anyway with a low table. Prob would have preferred a normal height table, but chair we were on was comfy enough and the table was cleared and cleaned. Croissant for me was slightly on the dark side but can’t have everything. Would be really great if they did chocolate coins. I can’t really fault anything to the point worth removing a star, so 5* visit from us. Thank you.”
