I'm no beer expert, but we spent a good chunk of our evening drinking Birra Moretti's in the Webb Ellis nearby. When we arrived I was asked if Moretti in a Carlsberg glass was ok? "Sure" I said, no problem, I'm not a difficult man.But these were definitely not three pints of Moretti. They were something else. Maybe Carlsberg? On moving on to the Lawrence Sheriff further down the road we were back on to proper Moretti's.Don't treat us like mugs, serving us inferior beer! Just tell us it's off!

Never ever had a decent still cider, the nearest was Old Rosie vile cloudy cider , only good for summer music festivals and apre surfing. Either way ,has no relevance in Rugby .?

It is what it is. Quite tired really. Same old same old. But some great real ales.

Visited The Bull, Rugby, Saturday 10th June. I went to hear the amazing beats and mixes from one of Rugby finest DJ’s. Unfortunately my experience was ruined by 45 mins of football commentary. Luckily for me, a Champions League Final only lasts 45 mins, at which point the DJ was able to bang out all the hits, with an amazing light show. From being incredibly busy for the first 45mins, and having difficultly getting served, the place soon emptied. I was able to enjoy the DJ all to myself, as it was only me, the DJ and Bar staff, what an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Visited after the refurbishment. Great pub, well organised. OK selection of beers. Music was far too loud for a Saturday afternoon, or any afternoon. Turn it down so its in the background and you can chat with your palls.

This place was a little quite bir it may have been because they wasn't expecting any football fans in.
