Cox’s Yard has the best atmosphere, nicest staff and best location in the whole of Stratford. Every lovely evening in the town involves a visit to this bar or The Attic Theatre attached to it, producing some amazing theatre! Thanks team!

We spent a pleasant afternoon here with friends drinking good Czech beer. It's a nice place on the riverbank with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We definitely recommend giving it a chance if you visit Stratford.

Fast friendly service ! Upon arrival seated quickly and happy to have our dog. The barmsn who took our order was so welcoming and offered some helpful advice about food offerings. The food arrived quickly, lots of it and tasty. Wings could have been hotter, but over all happy with our food. The waffles for pudding were yummy. !

Really accommodating. We booked last minute on the weekend if the Victorian fair and they fitted us in and our lovely dog. Food was great, good service too. The 2 lads behind the bar did great considering how busy it was, they were doing the drinks and taking food orders. Will definitely be back.

Yummy food cooked to order. We had bon bons and trickles to start followed by delicious pizzas Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of ales. Nice and clean.
We went in on 15th of December at around 6 pm and were refused service of a pint of Diet Coke and food due to not being 18, apparently we had to be 18 to be on the premises even though I have visited in the past at the exact same time, bloke saying this on the bar was incredibly rude and sarcastically told us goodbye.Do not recommend visiting try red lion instead

It was really good, the food felt fulfilling, it was fuffilling, the atmosphere. The service was shockingly high quality It just felt good. The only complaint is that the portion sizes were outer difficult to judge, it was a lot bigger than I was expecting. If Cox's is reading this, maybe put calorie counts or pictures on the menu?
