Great Indian restaurant. We went there as we have one in Weston Super Mare, and as we were in Stratford-upon-Avon thought we should try it being the same name. It was great and would go back again, if booking or ordering takeaway make sure you get the location right.

We could agree with Alam W more, that is the same with my wife and I. Been many times all good, that is why we go back. But over the last 3 visits have got worse and worse each visit. Food was banking up before we had finished the previous course. A couple of staff got grumpy and constantly pestered for payment. I said I have not looked at the bill let as we are finishing our drinks. Then he brought the card machine for payment, I said do not worry we are not going to do a runner. This was around 9.30pm very quite, will not be going back, unless we hear that it has gone back to how it was.

We have been eating at Hussains for many years but the last few times have been poor. Tough chicken, smaller portions, over cooked shee kebabs etc and very outdated toilets so we now use a different Indian in Stratford. A shame after all this time as the staff are great.

It must have been around 40 years when I last ate in this restaurant.We have to visit Stratford regularly to see a family member and therefore quite often eating around the area.We really enjoyed our Friday night visit here, the staff were in the Xmas spirit and the service was on the ball.The place is well presented but suggest you don't look too closely around the edges.Nothing wrong with the food we had, although I would have liked a more flavoursome sheekh kebab, and my Jalfrezi was in an 'unusual' gravy. Slightly disappointed as I was hoping for something a bit more richer and thicker.The wife didn't have any complaints with her meal and the sides were very good.

Just back from a New Years eve meal at Hussains. Wonderful Indian restaurant. Excellent food and excellent service. We live in Stratford and come here regularly - have never been disappointed

Booked a table for 5 a week before. Turned up at agreed time and date to be told no booking. No apology, accused me of lying. Awful service and rude staff.

Eaten here many times both eat in and takeaway , lovely food and staff friendly .The Place is Little dated but over all I would recommend as a very good Indian ?Vegetarian options: Paneer tikka is very nice

Excellent meal with staff literally standing at attention when in the restaurant (no kidding). All courses were well cooked and delicious but perhaps a tad expensive......Do go, this is a well above average Asian experience and we will be back when we want to treat ourselves........Booking recommended.
We booked a table for 2 on Sat 16th Sept and our starters came after 30 mins of sitting down at the table. The starters were nice and hot but then we had to wait another 30 mins for our mains. When our mains arrived, the nan bread was cold, my chicken shaslik was a chicken tikka and this too was cold. This ruined our meal and when we complained to the waiter he replied “we’ve only 2 chefs on as and we’re short staffed in the kitchen”. How can you get a starter hot and mains cold? We left the restaurant with full plates as there was no offer of warming the cold food or us receiving what I had originally ordered. We’ve eaten in this restaurant years ago and returned as we were visiting Stratford for the weekend. We should have seen the warning signs when we sat down at our table that the table of 4 next to us had left their table leaving full plates of food. Very disappointing experience indeed.

Had supper here with my wife on Saturday 19th August 2023. The food was poor generally, and I woke at 2am with stomach pains. I spent the next 2 hours in the bathroom vomiting from my arse. Would not go back
