My husband and I stayed in Stratford-upon-Avon for the weekend and visited this pub twice. Saturday evening and Sunday lunch time. I have to say on both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was lovely and very reasonable, especially the 3 course Mothers day special. The cocktails tasted lovely 2 for £10. Inside it has a lovely warm cosy atmosphere and in the summer we shall return to sit out in their beer garden. Of course what makes a really great lub experience is the staff, they were very friendly, welcoming and a special shout out to Dawn, her service was excellent we felt very looked after. Do not miss out on visiting this lovely pub.

Always decent food here and really friendly and helpful staff. We had lunch here today as a family of 8 and found the food quality really good, served swiftly and at a great price. John is a credit to Table Table, always cheery, always tuned in with customer needs, and undoubtedly causes customers to return again and again. Thankyou.

We as locals visit on many occasions and are rarely dissatisfied with the meals or service The set menu in the week is excellent value and have not had any problems with the food (hot plates yippee ) A mention for the lovely efficient staff Alistair, John, Jake, Dawn , Kevin and Rob You accommodate our request for a window table and ask if everything ok . We go to lots of restaurants with various costs but can say honestly you cannot beat the Red Lion for value for money and that’s why we return time after time We are bringing all of our family here 11 of us March 18th for Mother’s Day as I have every confidence we will be treated well and everyone will be impressed Thank you and look forward to Visiting soon Brenda & Ron

The red lion has improved 100% since our last visits plenty of choice on the menu mixed grill was cooked to perfection as was the lentil hotpot great price for food & drinks staff were very polite & helpful.

Excellent service, warm, friendly atmosphere and really nice pub food. We were served by John who was very efficient, friendly, helpful and funny. Located just across the river from the RSC the pub is quite large but the layout is comfortable. It has a huge garden for outdoor eating and is family and dog friendly. Recommend booking at busy times especially on the weekend. We both had pies which arrived in good time, were hot and delicious. Ice cream dessert yummy and one was plenty for the two of us. Didn't use the facilities so can't comment on accessibility.

The last time we were in Stratford was in 2015 and we had a great meal here. We were on our way to Solihull to meet up with the family at the weekend and decided to break the journey in Stratford for something to eat. We naturally gravitated towards this pub for our lunch as we have always enjoyed eating at the Table Table chain. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to a table. Our server was John S who was very helpful and friendly. We decided to take advantage of the lunchtime special. My husband chose the Classic Cheeseburger whilst I had the Gammon. Both were delicious! We both had a coffee as we still had to finish our journey to Solihull. Fantastic value for money as the bill came to £14.39. The quality of the food, the atmosphere in the pub and the friendliness of the staff were all first class. Thank you for making the start of our weekend so enjoyable. Hopefully we won't leave it so long before we're back again!

Bad experience, first a waiter refused to set us at the restaurant and told us to sit at the bar, When asked if we could have the Sunday roast we were told "only at the restaurant", a polite waiter sat us at the restaurant and took drink orders. When it was the moment of ordering food, we were told there was no roast whatsoever! It is completely unacceptable as they knew we just wanted Sunday roast! So we felt obliged to drink our drinks quickly without food, pay and leave as soon as possible to go a much better pub that doesn't offer such a bad experience as The Red Lion Table. Very disappointed.

The staff at the Red Lion are always friendly and helpful. They will go our of their way to see that everyone has an enjoyable meal. Each Christmas I take 18 to 25 residents from where I live and we have a great time with every detail arranged to give us an enjoyable time. The prices are very reasonable, especially the daytime specials. During the ten years my husband and I have been visiting , the staff have hardly changed and have become friends. Well done Rob and the team!
