We regularly get takeaway from here and it is consistently tasty and fresh. Great size portions too with a large menu to choose from

It's always a risk when you get a Chinese takeaway on holiday but this was better than ours at home! So fresh, full of flavour and not at all greasy. Everything totally delicious, thank you!

Amazing place!! Food and service were excellent. The price was about average but overall a great place to eat, great evening out with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Mr Chans!!

Ordered takeaway, but was given wrong food so had to return to get what we ordered. When we finally did get to eat the correct meal, it was very bland, greasy and poor quality, sausage meat is not the same as pork!! Never going to use them again.

I ordered a takeaway, crispy chicken, absolutely disgusting, just a breast coated in some kind of batter then fried and cut into slices with cunks of pineapple that tasted weird. The sweet and sour that came with it tasted horrible, not even like the sweet and sour sauce ive ever tasted, so thick , nearly like mousse, it all went in the bin after a couple of mouth fulls. I can honestly say that this is the worst Chinese Meal I have ever had.

Wanted a take away. Called.....engaged. called 86 Times. 2 times got through and it rung out for ages until it cut out. Rang the restaurant. Unhelpful lady answered straight away. Said they really busy in takeaway. Why they not support the busy area of the business. More manning of the phones. I called another Chinese who was probably just as busy but value and can cope with the amount of business.

V busy, had to book in advance, large menu, ordered a banquet, food was tasty esp the duck and pancakes and the beef dish but the noodles were v spicy and the chicken too sticky. Probably a good meal rather than v good.

The standards have slipped since Mr Chan sold up a few years ago. The food is still excellent, well priced and fresh. However some of the staff wear tracksuit trousers and scruffy trainers and the decor is very dated. Needs a complete refurbishment. Suggest takeaway only.

We Started with some appetiser’s thinking we might order something else after but we we’re stuffed.Fantastic flavours and good value, you won’t be disappointed.
We had umm’d and ah’d about going for a meal due to the mixed reviews but we’re very pleased we did. The service was very efficient, the food tasted great and we really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend a visit!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel I should save you all time, money and disappointment! On holiday in nearby caravan park so popped up for a quick takeaway for myself and my mother. Just two chicken curries with fried rice. I’ve never been served such a bland curry in my entire life! It was literally like a pack of cheap yellow sauce, chopped chicken and onion. More onion than chicken! Absolutely rubbish, avoid at all costs! I’m shocked that the locals here would accept such substandard food quality!

Staying in Stratford upon avon and decided to pop over to Mr Chans for an evening meal. I must admit we didn't book as it was a weekday. On arrival they were pretty busy but we were met by really lovely staff who found us a table for 4. The food was delicious. We ordered the sharing platters as starters which was a great way for all of us to sample lots of different things and did the same with mains, each of us ordering different dishes. There isn't 1 thing I would change. We all agreed what a fabulous evening we had. Thank you very much to all the staff we will be back next time we are in Stratford upon avon. I wish now I had some photos to share however we were having such a lovely evening with fab food I totally forgot.
