The venue is lovely especially in the summer overlooking the River Avon. Drinks and food are on the pricey side. They don't offer any deals on food and choice in the bar is pretty basic. The main problem is the parking. It's a right faff , you pay £3.50 for an hour and then get a refund on your bar bill. On the day of our visit the machine was not working and had to use Ringo which was ok for me but some people may not be tech-savvy to use it. Probably won't go again. A pity really

Attempted to book an event for 50 people , totally disinterested person told me to ring back later, did that but had to leave a message - no return call. Dropped in and found a barrage of parking regulation signs. £3 for an hour.. do I need to pay? Can I just drop in? No idea.. so gave up.

Boycott this place until they sort out the carparking company they employ.£170 in parking fines that took 2 months to be notified of !Many people have been stung on this and is a common occurrence hopefully the management will listen when customers stop using there venue!

We go there every Sunday for lunch. We know the food is and service is excellent. Won’t go anywhere else. Wonderful place to go and relax in the muddy oar bar after lunch. Great all year round. Looking forward to the Christmas menu as we know the food is Excellent.

Attended an Elton tribute. Ended up getting a £60 parking charge. No visible signage, inadequate lighting. No support from Riverside Avon. Never going back.

From start to finish this was the best meal out we have had for sometime! Service friendly yet professional food totally amazing! We had calamari, lava stone steak, fish and chips apple pie and fudge cake. All of an excellent standard in a lovely atmosphere would highly recommend.

A memorable day for the wrong reasons.The hospitality industry claims to be on its knees so this place has found an alternative method of profiteering. Here patrons have to pay a third party to park, so immediately your hope to relax with drink and food is potentially jeopardised by the provider.We visited for a family gathering so had to place a food order two weeks prior. Despite the notice, service was not slick so things dragged on beyond the parking times we paid for.Six weeks later the PCN from the third party parking company arrived. That bill is currently £500 for our party!!!

Lovely place in a beautiful location. Visited during our stay at the nearby site. Had a few drinks in the outside area during one afternoon, really nice views but the stairs and access were a bit awkward at times, up and down with drinks. Had breakfast the following morning, food was fresh and ok, but very expensive for the quantity served. Nice place for a visit whilst in the area.
